The only problem is I am not at goal!!! I still have 11 more pounds to go, but I have been maintaining lately. I know it is all on me and my food choices and I guess I have proved I can maintain, now all I need to do is lose this last bit and I will be in business.

here is some pixie dust :wizard: and hugs:hug:
for those last 11
but at least once they are gone you know your able to maintain

don't give up:D
they will go everyone says the closer you get to goal the harder it is to drop the pounds

They always say the last 10 lbs is the hardest ... it will all come off, in time. Good for you for knowing you can maintain. I've mastered maintenance too ... unfortunately I still have about 30lbs left to lose :earseek:

I know I have heard the last 10 pounds are the hardest, but it is just frustrating to be almost there. I lost .4 this week and I think that may be a two week total, so now I have 10.6 pounds to go.....ugh!

Thanks for the support, I can use all I can get!

  I know how you feel and I'm nowhere near goal yet. It can be so frustrating to try hard all week (and even 2 or 3 weeks) and then get no movement on the scales.

You will get there, even though the going is slow! The bad news may be the slow pace, but the good news is that you are making choices you can live with for a lifetime. That's so important!! When you reach goal, you won't re-gain, because you have incorporated your healthy eating ways into your life style!

Hang in there and we'll be celebrating goal with you before long!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

debbie -- do you have a buddy? a PM or email buddy that you check in with daily or close to it? My buddy group has helped me tremendously in the accountability department. Maybe ask your buddy to issue you a friendly challenge? Identify your weakness and let him/her sock it to you?

My buddies have recently issued me a food challenge and this weekend I'm only allowed 4 pts in snacks!

that is going to be hard for me, but not hard enough that I won't give it my all to report in a defeat of that challenge to my buddy.

Also -- lately we have been sharing our food journals -- that helps me keep on track too

just some ideas:wave2: maybe you've plataued? (sp) trying switching your exercise routine if you've done the same for a long time.

PD to you -- I know you can do this!!!!

WOW how did she do so quickly - cause we are close to losing the same and I thought - oh pooh - she got there already and I still have 10 to go !!!!!

Debbie - I finally just got it moving again (well at least once lately) and man it is frustrating I agree. Okay, YOU can do it and I have come to realize that ....... even though I want these last 10 off quickly (yesterday would have been a good day even :p ) it really is okay if it takes longer, I have lost 35 in one year - what makes me think that I can 10 off in 2 weeks! Cause I do - that's why - but.......... anyway I am feeling your pain and I am WISHing for you that it goes away soon!

Sending ((((((hugs))))) your way - and ~~~~~PD~~~~~~ to get those lbs gone!!!

Maintaining is good. Now you know you can do it!

Now buckle down and lose those last few pounds. They are the most difficult to lose. We'll be here to help you, though.

Hang in there, it will come off - at least you have mastered maintenance - and not going up!!!

Same for me. . .and I'm tired of maintaining. Unfortunately, I still have a lot more to lose. I WISH it were just 10 pounds!

be patient!!!! Let your body adjust to it's new weight a little, and soon it will be ready to get go of the last few pounds it's trying so desparately to hold on to!

LOL......I wish it was the case!!!! But no such luck.

I struggled big time this weekend. Friday I went out and planned my whole day (eating) around what I was planning on having that night, but then something happened and plans were changed and the only choice was pizza and hot dogs....I was famished, stuck where I was so I ate-------gasp------ both! Then I was still reeling from not getting the coveted hamburger and fries I so carefully budgeted for the previous day (can I tell you it has been ages since I had hamburger and fries) that I made Boca burgers and homemade mac and cheese (another thing I hadn't had forever) and I ate 3 servings ----yikes----. Then Sunday rolled around and I guess I was on a roll because I indulged again and when I got on the scale yesterday I was up 2 pounds from Friday and almost 4 pounds since the previous week. But the weekend weight must have been water weight because the two pounds are gone from the scale today.

Yesterday I jumped back OP and although I was hungry I stuck to my points. Today is another day and I am committing myself to the Mother's Day challenge (as I failed the April Fools Challenge) so I am moving forward (I hope) once again.

Thanks all for your support and encouragement, I really it need it now as these last 12 pounds will be the hardest to lose.

oh man, been there done that!

{{{HUGS}}} to you -- jump back on the wagon!!! you can do it and you'll feel soooo much better (you know that ;))

onward and downard not (looking) backward!
