Is it usually the week before or after or both? :surfweb: Just curious... We will be there on the 19th! Bells and whistles and pixiedust: of course!

it was busy the whole week. I did notice the crowds even heavier on Thanksgiving day and the weekend after.

And crazy me, crowds or no crowds I am going again the week of Thanksgiving.

We went last year Sun, Mon & Tues before Thanksgiving. It was definitely crowded! Not undoable but definitely plan on getting there early & using fast pass to it's max if you don't want to wait in long lines. I remember splash got to 90 minutes and space mountain was about the same (all days we were there).

We still had a blast though! A crowded day in Disney is better than any day at work!

We're trying the following week after Thanksgiving this year so we'll see how that goes. :scared:

Have fun!

We did the week after Thanksgiving two years ago (in the parks Mon-Thurs).

The good part? 70 degrees every day and the longest wait for a ride (Space Mtn) was about 15 minutes. It did start raining while we were driving out of town that Friday, so rain *is* a possibility.

The bad part? Very limited operational hours (DL closes at 8pm and DCA at 6pm). The good part about those limited hours? We were in bed early and well-rested for each days' adventures.

We're going to be there the week after Thanksgiving again this year :).

have u been during the summer? is the weekend before thanksgiving as crowded as it is in the sumer?

I have heard that Thanksgiving is getting nearly as crowded as Christmas time. More and more people are getting more days off , or just taking the whole week off.

We are going for Thanksgiving too. we leave on wednesday EARLY am. its gonna be a long drive. But well worth it crowed or not.
