I think it's perfect for our WISH group. But there a lot of other songs that are good too. The words to this song just "grab" me.

Would you believe our WW leader based her talk on this song today???? Wow! What a coincidence!

She started out with a quote that went something like

"In this world, there are two types to be seen,
Those who lead and those who lean"

She then went on to talk about how sometimes we all lead, and sometimes we all need to lean.

She closed the meeting by reading those lyrics....

(This coincidence must mean SOMETHING, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what! )

Disneyaholic is right- this was part of the WeightWatchers message this week! Our leader read the lyrics, and the more outgoing of us sang along!! It's so funny that you're on our wavelength, Katholyn.

And we talked at length about leaners and leanees, and how each of us can be either one at any given point in time, and sometimes both at once. Leaders and followers, mentors and proteges, supporters and the supported- there are lots of ways to look at it.

WISH is a such a great support group because we can all lean on each other, while we help hold each other up. I think this is a great theme song, Kath!

One of my all time favorites! I get goose bumps every time I hear it! Thanks Kath, for helping me feel secure in my quest. This song reminds me of my childhood, when all was well and life seemed so much easier. Even something as simlpe (SIMPLE? ) as losing weight can be a major life change, and change, no matter for good or bad, can be scary. We all need a bit of Bil Withers, and each other, to help us through rough spots! I LOVE IT!
