Ever wished you'd just stayed in bed! I've kind of decided it's time for a new job and was really thrilled to get an interview for a managers job for a local authority good money great prospects but oh dear! I had to sit a 30 minute test all about welfare and benefits (I spent ages on the internet reading up .... didn't help one bit) and then had a 60 minute grilling from an interview panel, one of whom followed every answer I gave with 'turning that on it's head....' then asking the question in reverse which just got me really confused :confused3 I came out with such a headache  I went straight into M&S, bought loads of cake & Chocolate & spent all afternoon on the sofa watching Dr Phil :rotfl: The rejection letter will be in the post next week LOL :)

oh poor you, its a nightmare isn't it, you may get a suprise, I bet you performed better than you think you did - I hope you enjoyed the choccies

 Oh poor you Lisa, I hate interviews, I always get so tongue-tied, :wizard: :wizard: Good Luck with finding a new job and I hope you enjoyed your choccies

  Oh never mind, well done for giving it a good go, as others have said you may have done much better than you thought.:goodvibes

And it may feel good and you may want to Smile, Smile, Smile..
Oh Dont you let your Demons pull you down..
Cause you can Have it all, You can Have it all all all!

LOL :lmao: Words of Wisdom from Take that... And what wonder that they apply to this situation... :rotfl: :rotfl:

I hope things turn out. I hate interviews too. But never count your chickens before they have hatched!

What an experience ~ You never know, you might have done better than you thought. At least you had choccies and cake:)

They were probably just as evil to all the candidates so don't give up yet :)

I agree with the majority, you've probably done better than you thought and even if you haven't at least it was good practice!

Oh poor you! I've had some pretty awful ones too. The funniest one was for a press assistant at a music pr firm. I had to take in a list of my top 10 albums, I included Billy Joel and Disney, you should have seen their faces!!! I imagine all the other candidates had lists of uber trendy bands or "classics" to make them seem educated. I got the job though!!!

Sounds like a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

I remember one interview I had - when I got there they weren't sure if there was a job, if there was whether it was in the UK or Sweeden and if there was a job it certainly wasn't for what it said in the ad! All the interviewer wanted to do was ask me obscure maths questions which didn't seem to have any relevance (and which I couldn't answer!)

I guess as I haven't heard yet (10 years hve passed) I didn't get the job

Hope you at least enjoyed your chocolate

Poor you, sounds awful but I hope you get the job, if you still want it that is :goodvibes

Would you really want to work for people like that anyway? Good luck in your job search :wizard:

They can be awful can't they! But I'm sure you've done better than you expected...

Hope you still want the job after all that ;)
