I've got some news to share....UPDATED WITH PHOTOS

I am so excited.....I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!!!

We are getting a boxer puppy tomorrow (well hopefully) it is not a rushed decision as we have been thinking about it for 18 months but the timing was not right....we already have a male boxer dog for those of you that may not know they are a very lively breed and are often described as the clowns of the dog world, hence we have waited and given our full attention to him but now that he is 3 yrs old and has calmed down we are ready to go through it all again!

We have been speaking to breeders for the past few days and have found a pedigree female that is eight weeks old and is able to leave the litter from tomorrow so we are doing a 5 hour round trip and hopefully bringing her home with us providing she bonds with us and vice versa!!!

I have seen a photo of her and she is absolutely gorgeous! I am so excited! Fingers crossed we get her, I shall of course post an update tomorrow and hopefully piccies of our newest family member.

Oh how lovely, my brother had a boxer and he was lovely but as you say very lively!!, my DD's use to do a quick runner when he was slobbering and getting ready to shake his head , so as not to get a shower , hope it goes ok and you come home with her

Be sure to take some old towels with you as dogs are nearly always sick the first time they travel!

I really wanted to call her Tinkerbell but my niece is called Taylor and we have always called her 'Tink' since she was a baby so that's out....so we have decided on Bailey.

That is spooky. I can understand why you've had 3 of them Karen, they have such personalities.

Well we got her!!!! We have just got in, it took 2.5hrs to get home from Norfolk and she didn't sleep at all in the the car. My DH held her most of the way and she was sick all over him.....so bad he had to take his top off!

She is exhausted and is fast asleep on her big brothers bed - my mum & dad are on their way over with him and I am really excited to see what he makes of her. She is so small! Anyway here is a piccie of her as promised....I will post some more piccies over the next few days but here's one for now.
