Hi everybody

Some of you may know that I was looking into a solo trip for my birthday next summer, and despite my good intention to go somewhere other than WDW I just couldn't do it :teeth: I have just put down a deposit for 6 nights at the Dolphin for next August 22nd to 28th, as they are offering great rates for AP holders, which I will be next year. I can get my flight with Virgin for £456.60 if I cash in some of my miles, so its a great deal really and it would be rude not to. This time it is definately a solo trip and I will have earnt it by the time it comes around.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
I'm off to change my ticker!

Good for you Claire. :thumbsup2

Hi

Well done claire you certainly do deserve it.

At the moment we cant decide whether to move or go to WDW. We have a holiday booked, but I am getting fed up with our house. I cant decide. We maybe going next year or we will be moving.

Oooh decisions decisions Michelle. I think my head would tell me to move as you want to be happy in your four walls and a holiday is only for 2 weeks, you have to live in your house. I can understand your dilema though, my heart would be pulling me to Florida :confused3

If it was me I would definitely move house - long term over short term anyday.

Great news Claire :Pinkbounc

Michelle, if I was unhappy with my house I would rather move ~ being happy in your home is more important than a holiday, even a WDW one! :rotfl: Good luck with your decision. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone. Bruce said with all the legal costs and certain updates the house could do with we wouldnt be able to afford FL so we would need to save up. Its decisions, decisions. I will update the house and perhaps put the house up for sale. If we like one and sell ours then we could move, but if we cant find anywhere I might just spend it on a holiday to FL :rotfl:

Claire

How wonderful. I notice that once again we are at WDW at the same time!

Enjoy your planning.

Congrats on the new booking claire... :sunny:
For what its worth I think you've made an excellent choice going solo to WDW. I know you were considering a road trip of some sort but I honestly think for a woman alone you absolutely can't go wrong with a trip to WDw. :thumbsup2
Iam the biggest scaredy cat going...hate going any where by myself, yet when we in DW this August I just felt sooo safe. Plus the transportation makes it so easy for you to get around...you don't even need a car.
Iam really looking forward to my "alone day" this year...when Dh dd and Ds go to discovery cove. The whole of disney world is my Oyster.. :teeth: ..I can hop on a bus ,boat ..or monorail and go whereever I feel like..I can spend ages looking around all the shops...sot and chill and people watch in main street. Or stroll slowly around world showcase. There are sooo many options. You will easily fill a whole week ...It sounds like bliss.

On another note...The swolphin is an excellent choice...good rates for deluxe accomadation...and Have you heard about the "heavenly beds"

You can walk to epcot!! Fantastic for a solo trip.
Have great fun planning claire...why not look into the behind the scenes tours?
