C.Ann, so sorry to read this awful news. I had been hoping to hear that your DD's friend made a sudden recovery and booted her family out of the hospital. So sad that this was far from the case.
I hope your DD can console herself with the fact that she loved her friend dearly, and I believe her friend knew she would have wanted to be with her, and would have been there if she could.
