I originally joined DIS in Jan 1999 when searching for info for first trip to WDW. I had another DISname back then. I think I started posting in this forum a couple years ago.

The board was really wierd in the beginning. Didn't it have like Castle doors, and you clicked on the door to enter the room-which was a thread? or was that another Disney web site.

I've been here since about March of '99, had to reregister in early 2000 (not because I was banned, LOL, at least not yet) when Pete switched software. Have met and made many friends here over the past almost 7 years.

I also arrived mid-1999 and reregistered in 2000. Seems like only yesterday.

Five years for me. I started out doing some trip planning and then moved on over to the Community Board later.

It's weird when I think how much my life has changed in those 5 short years.

I was first introduced to these boards in mid to late 1999, looking for info for our December 1999 trip. I came back in 2002 when we planned another trip, but I was only reading info at those times, I hadn't registered. In 2004 when I was planning a mother/daughter only trip I finally had a few questions I wasn't seeing any answers to, so I registered at that time and have pretty much been here every since.
