ok so i downloded itunes to my laptop, logged on to my acount and bought some songs well i went to sync them and all of my songs were lost but the ones i just bought were still there. help pleas.

You have to import the songs from your ipod to your computer

im pretty sure you have to authorize your laptop, its under store on the top part of itunes

Even if you authorized your computer, the songs arent on your ipod anymore, so it wouldnt be able to put the music back on the computer.

Could you authorize your computer, and then sync your ipod with your old computer to get the music back on your ipod and THEN sync it with your new computer?

yep. You can have up to five computers authorized at any time.
