That's why it is important to do a review and then if you didn't find a particular bad review helpful, let iTunes know on the comments screen (Was this review helpful - yes/no). If enough people say no, those reviews go to the bottom of the list which currently has 296 reviews.
I just read every review, and truthfully didn't find any of them save one or two nasty. The vast majority were positive. Of those who were critical, most did have valid points. We DISers can be intimidating to outsiders, so for somebody just downloading the DISunplugged who knows nothing about our community or the crew, I can see it being a little hard to "get"
I've been a DISer for 5 years, a podcast listener for 3, I've been to both December events and won a 6 night trip to the Swan from the DIS.
I am so grateful to the DIS and the DISunplugged for bringing a smile to my face during some really rough times. The DIS is a part of my every day. And truthfully, there are still many times that I feel like I'm not a member of the "In Crowd" here.
So, yeah, I can see total outsiders not understanding the Podcasts humor at all.
You can't please everybody. Thats why ice cream doesn't only come in Vanilla.
Ahhh, I was wondering if it was region-based. And here I had always thought my review on iTunes was the first. Just 4 reviews from us Canadians, all 5-star, and there are an additional 9 ratings without reviews, also all 5-star.
The easiest way is to click the iTunes button at the top of the page and let it take you to the podcast's page in iTunes. The reviews should be at the bottom of the page.
The reviews are by country. You can switch countries by clicking the flag icon at the bottom of the iTunes page. You'll have to do a search for the podcast in the iTunes store to get back to the right page.
