Hi!

Does anyone know if, after you download a movie from 'tunes, you can then upload it to a DVD-R? Just wondering - I got a $15 card for Christmas, and I want to catch up with "Gray's Anatomy" since I just started watching it at the end of last season.

Thanks!

I'm going to try it tonight so we'll see how it goes. Not sure if I have the proper media to put it on yet tho. Downloaded POTC 2 to ipod; took longer than I thought it would to download. I do want it on DVD as well. If I get it to work I'll let you know.

I've done some searching on the internet and I don't think it can be done "easily". Looks like the best fix is to buy the cable that links your ipod to your TV (or input device) and run it straight from there.

Here is something I found:
Unfortunately, you can't do anything with videos purchased through the iTunes store other than watch them back on a iPod and play them through iTunes/QuickTime (it has to be an authorized computer). These videos are DRM'ed which means that they contain DRM that limits to what can and can't open them.

Any discussion of trying to break this video DRM breaks Apple's EULA and will cause this thread to be locked.

It bites but it not that many people mind it. If you have a 5G/5.5G iPod, you could always purchase a video cable to hook it up to your TV. That is about the closest you can get.

Then I googled it and came up with lots of DRM info. You might want to take a look yourself at some of the info out there on this. I'm going with the cable myself.
