Don't forget to set the clocks back tonight

It's a me weekend and mom's wanting me to go out shopping guess I will..... I do have the 25% off for J's so......

I've got pics uploading to snapfish from my computer and walgreens from toms so I'll leave them running. I have to get a big flash drive or external hard drive and pull them all from toms. it's old and slow and I think it might speed up a bit if I empty them all off. so that is the plan for today.

tomorrow is another me day (gotta love hunting season) only thing I have to do is take Levi to CCD for 4:30

Hope you all have a great weekend

Thoughts and prayers for all those affected by sandy. I'm praying the 2-4" we're supposed to get misses them but hits us.

Happy Weekend!

continued prayers for those still dealing with issues from Sandy :hugs: I too hope the new storm goes somewhere else!

Mornin' all!!

Prayers and Pixie dust to all those in need..

Lisa, enjoy the day... I hope the HS is what you want.. Our HS was just given an "A" rating by the state.. :woohoo:
Cassey, hope you are able to reach your family in NJ.
Christy, enjoy shopping.. I need to do that on Friday
Reddy, hope you are able to finish Splash Mtn without issue!

Today:

vote
await electricians
just chill because we will be w/o power have power in all but 1 room... needed some additional wire or something... they'll be back to get my stove hooked up later tonight.... then .....

Tomorrow:

clean house
work on projects x 3
guys back over to finish clean up and last minute things...

Think that is it for the weekend.. I need to hit the ground running next week as we have a lot that needs accomplished before the college kid come home for Thanksgiving.. DS21 is coming to stay with us too...

I hope the HS will be a good fit for Megan - know we are a year early checking it out, but since its private wanted to get a head start on what to expect there!

what's up with the electricians coming Nan? hope its nothing serious

Rewiring what the previous owners hid and we are now finding.. they spliced wires together in walls w/ electrical tape.. we are so lucky we have not had our house burn down...

You have to look early when it comes to education.. We start our the kids their sophomore year looking at colleges and thinking.. Do you want a big college, small college, what do you want to do as a career... Than we start campus visits their Junior year.. and follow up their senior year to the top picks.. Our goal is to fill out apps in the summer and submit early.. I like to know where they are going by Christmas... lets me know how much money we are paying...

So, I think you are doing a very good thing by searching for a HS early.. especially if it's private and you need to ask questions and make sure she is going to comfortable there.. if she isn't comfortable then she will be miserable.. KWIM??

oh wow, how scary! amazing what stupid things people do with electric wires!

that's what I am thinking too...Megan is okay with going to the school, even though none of her friends are....the public school she would go to has about 2,200 kids, this one around 750 kids and they have some wonderful choir and foreign language classes she is interested in, plus they are huge with community service projects and have mandatory hours they have to fulfill!

Got my grocery shopping done this morning, saved over $66! Need to do a little picking up and sorting of stuff. I'd like to finish my book.

Morgan is helping out at a girl scout Halloween party this evening. She's got a bit of a cold, but she'll be fine.

DH is making Alfredo tonight. Think I'm going to make a beef stew for tomorrow. I don't know why I think I need to do something tomorrow, it's a free day, love that ;)

Hope everyone has a good one!

Nan- Hope all the wiring gets worked out-frustrating for you
Lisa- Good luck with the school
Everyone- Happy scrapping and shopping

Finally a busy week is over!! Teacher-conferences are done (me being the parent and teacher both!), Halloween is done, and the house is put back together mostly. Also did the grocery run to the new Sams that opend up a few minutes from our house. Finishing a little :laundy: like everyone else, that will just multiple no matter what I do?

Hoping to scrap most of the weekend. We have a hayride tomorrow, but otherwise most of the weekend is free. Plus we have a three day weekend

Goal: Finish the whole Disney album this weekend. Doubtful, but I am going for it!!

Still haven't decided about NYC trip in a little over a month? Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and 9/11 memorial suffered damage-which were items my MIL really wanted to see. Waiting a little longer to see and decide. Our little decision on whether to go is nothing compared to the people who lives/belongings were destroyed from this storm though. My thoughts and prayers go out for them. :worried:

Afternoon - looks like everyone has a little me time scheduled for the weekend, awesome!

DH finished his honey do list by noon, I ran some errands and caught up on emails and paying bills. Time for a little scrapping, DH will be glued to the TV most of the day with College Football games, I'll be scrapping and will run outside to try to catch the Thunderbirds doing their show. Not sure what time it will start but it's usually the last part of the air show for the day - that and I'll hear them screaming as they zoom over our home, hahaha!

Happy Weekend All!

Nan- you need to check the Blue Angel and T-bird web pages to get your DS to a show next year :)

major score at Kohls! had a $10 off, $5.00 off and 30% off....only spent .64 cents for two xmas presents!!!

mall was nuts...took us 15 minutes to find a parking spot

Good deal!!!
I got the deal of the day here too. My dad made a digital scrapbook for the ambulance he built and we got 10 books for $200. 50% off and free shipping, score!!

Great score Lisa!!! :)

I need to pull all my coupons and lists...

I have lists of the supplies I need for my homemade gifts I need to buy... I need to inventory the scraproom first but can't get to it till tomorrow...

I still need to do dinner..but we have no stove yet... still working...

Lisa gotta love those deals!!! our stores were nuts too.

I haven't even thought about christmas. Boys need nothing making it very hard to shop.

Nan hope they get the stove wired up soon. we're doing leftovers.

Same thing here Christy..
My boys are tough to buy for because they don't ever ask for much... I usually try to get them one thing that they have been really wanting... but the other stuff we get when they need.... although if DS16 keeps growing he may need new jeans about every month...

PJ gave me her list...but most of it was a CD she wanted and some clothes... Like the child needs any more clothes.. she took all my sweaters to school... LOL I went to find a sweater the other day... and it wasn't here... skyped with her and she was wearing it!

that is a good deal Buffy!

Christy, need to make up the rest of my list too...will be a bit easier this year since I'm only getting Megan a couple little things...re-doing her bedroom...we are going out later tomorrow to look for paint and hoping to get down to Ikea next weekend to order the furniture!

I love doing big projects like that for gifts....

We need to do that for ds12...but I just don't think it's possible this year... maybe next Christmas... His room hasn't been re done since he was a newborn... poor guy.. Luckily we didn't paint anything on the walls.. we usued a lot of photos to decorate...
