It's the truth,it's actual! Road trip,CSR, DxDP,MNSSHP! *NEW PTR LINK IS UP!! PG 38*

I just saw your "last thoughts" and you did a great job (although I disagree with you on Waffle House--DH and I love this place for breakfast and go at least twice a trip).

So any news on a wedding date? Or still up in the air?

Yes Jeen any wedding plans yet !! I know where the Honeymoon will be !!!!;)

I hate to disappoint, but no plans yet. When they do happen they still won't be anything fun like you can read about on here :( It will most likely be a quick thing at the court house. We can't afford a wedding of any size, and if I'm not going to do it big then I wanna go super simple and just get the piece of paper signed . Unfortunately no one but my Dis friends cares about us being engaged. I guess that is what happens when you have kids first?? That and my family generally speaking sucks!

THANK YOU guys for your enthusiasm though! Definitely keeps me going! Love my Dis-family:grouphug:

Also, stay tuned for more last thoughts! Kat, MAYBE I will give the waffle house one more try! Just for you!

BTW- Her cake was awesome. Did you make it?

and i did make her cake! Thank you so much! It's so easy..look much fancier than what it was lol

OMG. I can't stand it. I'm officially adopting your adorable family. Ya'll can come down here & get married on the beach! I still vote for a super sneaky MNSSHP wedding though.

I'm all caught up, finally. I understand about stuff gettin' in the way of a TR (just see the lapses in mine! Yipe!) I got in a big ol Disney funk after we got home. Couldn't even listen to my Disney radio on live365, & that's sayin' something!

Sorry you cried when you left. That's why I texted you when we were leaving that I was tearing up, cuz I knew you'd relate! I just love not thinking about anything but happy stuff for a week, and after a summer of having patients die & be bedridden, I needed it! I'm sure I will next year too!

I'm gonna stop blabbing here, cuz I gotta go to bed. 7a comes too early.

Hey Jenn

Love all your thoughts. so fun to read

What an awesome birthday surprise for Kayla.

NYC sounds like a blast and sweet deal on the penthouse :woohoo:

Happy New Year, Jenn, to you as well as your beautiful family. Such an exciting 2009 for you, but I know 2010 is going to be even better.

Love the surprise for Kayla - I imagine it was torture to keep it but so worth it when it finally panned out! I am the same way but am getting better about not just telling. Can't wait to see the pics from the NY trip - my husband and I are going there in March to be chaperones on a school trip so it should be interesting (most are seniors)!

Also about the wedding - my family is a little wacky too so we just went to the JP and got is signed and it was easy breazy! That was my choice because I didn't want all the headache that comes with planning stuff. I was just going to have a big reception but after so many special request from people and complaints about where it was going to be I called that off to... We did have a family dinner but that was it! Then we went to Disney World for the Honeymoon! Not having the wedding meant I had more money to spend at DW!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I just may take you up on that offer if you can plan it and make sure it's super cheap LOL! I'd do the whole MNSSHP thing, but I kinda like Disney and don't want to ever get banned:goodvibes Btw, I wanna adopt your baby lover face!

That was me last year! Oh man.. it was BAD. My depression kicked in full overload! this year I just ended up being super busy, but not super bummed!

Happy New Year, Jenn, to you as well as your beautiful family. Such an exciting 2009 for you, but I know 2010 is going to be even better.
Happy new year to you and yours as well! looking back, 2009 was a wonderful year for my lil family and i! I hope that 2010 is even better, but I'll be happy if it is the same as 2009!

Aw, loved the surprise! She looked SO excited!
SHE WAS! So all the hardship was well worth it!

What are your bounce back dates?

September 10-21:cool1:

ooof.. idk if I would want that kind of responsibility for someone elses kids LOL! BUT, you will def have fun! and it was torture, but totalllly worth it! I think I am getting good at secret keeping now!

Also about the wedding - my family is a little wacky too so we just went to the JP and got is signed and it was easy breazy! the only reason I even want a wedding is so I can register for a kitchen aid stand up mixer!!! that is all I want out of life right now LOLOLOLOL. i used to want the big wedding, but then I thought about all that money and I just can't do it. Most of the peopel I would have invited 4 years ago, I don't even talk to anymore. So I guess it's a good thing I never did get married then! Now we will do JOP and our kids will be tehre and that's all that matters! Oh and a Disneymoon of course:cloud9:

OK, I have dragged this TR out long enough and I have a burning to start a new PTR, so I will finally poost my last final thoughts and PICS from our NYC trip, and our Holiday!

I should start off by saying THANK YOU for following me like you do! through my ups nd downs, ins and outs! You all rock, and I hope you will join me in my next Disney adventure! I also hope that I have been able to give you good ideas like you do me! I look forward to your advice, tips and stories likeyou don't know!

So again, thank you!

Final Thoughts!

*More food pics! Although I am not a huge fan of going up to the buffet to take pics, i did miss having food porn to go along with my dining posts! So next year I will take more pics!

*No towels of our own. We brought towels down with us this year, and it was completely unnesessary! No need to take up room like that again!

*No T-Rex. Glad we did it, but def not a must do!

*CRT- OK.. the last couple of years it has been a dissapointment. BUT it is my favorite, and I feel like if we don';t go there the first night as tradition that it will chnage our trip somehow:confused3 SO, we will give it one more try on our first night this year, but if it stinks again, it's done.

*Girls day! I loveddd doingthis with Kayla! Definite must do again! and I highly suggest doing a solo day with your child!

*Taking pics ofthe park signs. Need to get better shots!

*Wake up call from Stitch. Glad we did it, but man does that phone ring scare me, and then Stitch is uber obnoxious! BUT, it did get us up and going lol!

*Coffee filters!! IDK why, but we brought coffee, brought creamer, but we didn;t bring any filters! John had to get crafty lol! So remember filters if you hate Disney coffee but need coffee to keep you going!

*1 Case of water was plenty. I never remembered to bring it with or didn;t want to take the room to do so. 3 cases is not needed, one will suffice next year!

*When we get to the resort buy our autograph books. Last year it dawned on me as pooh was walking to our table that I never bought the dumb things..:headache:

*Love the monorail. I really do!

*Pin trading! Loved it 2 years ago, and really loved it again last year! So looking forward to future pin trading!

*Need to buy a good backpack! That is what we seem to use most! But I need something with more sensical pockets! or any other suggestions?

*Being more go with the flow was definitley a great frame of mind to be in! I suggest everyone go with an open mind and not let something silly like being 5 mins late ruin their trip!

*Dole whip float- OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!:cloud9::love: FER serious, it was amazing and if you like pineapple do it! You will be so happy!

*Jungle cruise- I can't believe we waited so long to do this... although I swear we did it in 2005:confused: It still felt like the first time, and I liked it!

*UHM..Peter Pan and Wendy Darling were weird! They better be better and not look like meth heads next year!

*After giving in and trying a counter service, I am positive that it is not for us. We very much prefer sitting down and being served on vacation over getting our food, trying to situate everyone, find a table, order...blah. Just wasn't a fan. earl of Sandwich will always be an exception though!

*Swimming! What fun! Definitley going to schedule some more day time swimming in for next year! The pool at CSR was AMAZING! The slide totally ruled too! Can not wait to go back to it!

*Making rope drop! OK, I admit it, it is totally worth it! Seeing the park empty and getting so much done before it is packed is awesome! I won't do t every morning, but I will do it for each park this trip! As Sophia says to me often, I can sleep when I'm dead:lmao:

*Being on DxDP means a lot of food. While I enjoy all that food, and I want to get the most bang for my buck, that doesn't mean I have to eat every single bite of the app, entree and dessert. I think many desserts will be skipped or packed to go next trip!

*Buzz lightyear is awesome. I know a lot of peopel think it stinks now that TSMM is out, but it still remains a favorite in our hearts! Although, the guns could be replaced or upgraded a bit!

*We finally went on the people mover! Loved that little break!

*Speedway! Did that for the first timemyself, and I loved it! definitely a night time ride though!

*Double stroller- as much as I hate pushing it, it does come in super handy when we need to carry bags and tired kids! I know Kayla is 9, but shes got little legs!! They get tired fast LOL. I think this may be our last year with it though! So sad

*Forgot to mention it earlier, if you pin trade, buy some ahead of time! It was well worth it! saved me a ton and I didn't mind the kids trading frivolously! I was able to focus my pin money on pins I wanted for our collection!

*Zebra Domes- Liked them, but not addicted liek some:rolleyes1 glad I tried them though!

*Pressed pennies- what fun! Defintley a fun new tradition! Does anyone know if they switch machines out year to year? or once you collect them all thats it?

*Best tip I got was the character meeting spot in DHS! what a character jack pot!

*One mans dream! What an awesome attarction! Defintley not to be be missed! I skipped it twice, and so glad we did it this time!

*Take more solo pics of my kids. I have a ton of them togther. But not a ton of them alone. None of me and them really either. Need to work on a better photo wish list!

*Voyage of the Little Mermaid- Over it. Not that great a show. Good place to cool down though!

*Rockin rollercoaster- Kayla wasn't tall enough..grr. NEXT YEAR fer sure!

*EMH at DHS- do it! It was great!

enjoyed cracking one open at the pool each night!

*50's PTC- Like it, but over it. Skipping that one next year!

*Nemo the musical- so mad we misse dit! Definite on list for next year!

*Expedition Everest! what a fun ride! You have no clue how scared I was too! Stoked I tried it, even more stoked Kayla tried it and liked it!

Enjoyed your final thoughts

I am sad your report is over, but on the other hand, excited to read your new Pre Trip when u start :wizard:

Final Thoughts!

Maybe I can convince Kyle to do a character meal our next trip... hmmm... no princesses though.

*Girls day! I loveddd doing this with Kayla! Definite must do again! and I highly suggest doing a solo day with your child!

*Taking pics of the park signs. Need to get better shots!

*Wake up call from Stitch. Glad we did it, but man does that phone ring scare me, and then Stitch is uber obnoxious! BUT, it did get us up and going lol!

Girl, I hear ya. If I don't have my 8 o clock coffee each day, I'm sad. Folgers just doesn't cut it (but it'll do if I'm desperate.)

We never used ours! I forgot when we met Chip, and then only got Mickey & Minnie! Oh well, I guess I have it for next time.

*Love the monorail. I really do!
:thumbsup2

*Pin trading! Loved it 2 years ago, and really loved it again last year! So looking forward to future pin trading!

*Need to buy a good backpack! That is what we seem to use most! But I need something with more sensical pockets! or any other suggestions?
I loved the little Swiss Army purse I got from Target. It was small, but fit all that I needed. Then again, I don't have a big ol mamma jamma camera like you do.

Hmm. Too bad DH doesn't like pineapple. The sugar would make me sick & the acid would burn, but I'm 110% sure I'd love it. I love pineapple ice cream, so why not a DW Float?

*Jungle cruise- I can't believe we waited so long to do this... although I swear we did it in 2005:confused: It still felt like the first time, and I liked it!
That kind of humor is right up my alley! DH gave me a look that said "You planned for this didn't you? For me to listen to more corny jokes as if yours aren't bad enough, didn't you?" Love it!

*UHM..Peter Pan and Wendy Darling were weird! They better be better and not look like meth heads next year!
:rotfl: OMG, I'm in tears here! BWAHAHAHA!!

*After giving in and trying a counter service, I am positive that it is not for us. We very much prefer sitting down and being served on vacation over getting our food, trying to situate everyone, find a table, order...blah. Just wasn't a fan. earl of Sandwich will always be an exception though!

The nice thing is that you can get a lot done in that amount of time.

I kind of liked it better than TSMM. I like feeling like I was in a video game. I didn't get as much of the same feeling in TSMM.

So sad

*Tower of Terror. terrifying. I hated it, so did Kayla. I doubt I will ever go back on lol

*Rockin rollercoaster- Kayla wasn't tall enough..grr. NEXT YEAR fer sure!
The take off will take yoru breath! There's something similar at Kings Island, though I'm sure it can't be near as cool.

*EMH at DHS- do it! It was great!
Agreed! Um, not that I'd know or anything :rolleyes1

*JoJo and Goliath- does anyone know them anymore? I mean we do, but why are they such a big part still when the show isn't even aired anymore?? btw- I miss that show! Loved it!
I don't know who they are. Conner would much prefer MMCH & Handy Manny.

*Beer for John!! definitley bringing a case down next year! he thoroughly
enjoyed cracking one open at the pool each night!
:thumbsup2 MMM, Blue Moon... *insert Homer drool here*

*TSMM- awesomeeeee..seriously. i'd even wait in a stand by for it!

Reminds me of the KY State Fair. LOL

*Decorating our window- was soooo awesome and I had so much fun! totally thinking of new ideas for next year..but may just bring back the stuff we have and just add a bit more!

*Innoventions- AWESOME! def a new fam favorite!

*Spaceship Earth- Uhm.. how did I never try that before?? Loved it, as did the whole fam!
OMG, I  that ride! Did I ever tell you the story of my mom getting drunk in the old Italian restaurant (whatever it was in '96) & then slurring "I wanna go up in the ball again!" :rotfl:

*Segway- they rule. I now want to be a mall cop!

*The seas pavillion is awesome. I love fishies!

*Biergarten- glad we tried it! Not my favorite, but I'd go back if asked! There is something for everyone in case you have a picky eater with you!
