It's The Spirit of the Season-As If 8 Months of Disney Wasn't Enough! A Dec. 2012 PTR

Also came over from the December thread. Wow, those discounts are fantastic ...

This might be a silly question, but where do you find the "December thread?" I'm assuming there's one for each month and I'd love to find an April 2013 thread!

Its under the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies> Doing the Happy Dance subforum. Yep, there's an April thread there ... looks like they're going out to 2014 already.

Btw, love your name, not in small part because I'm a librarian, too. (And a geek, but that kind of goes without saying around here ...)

Thank you so much for your help! And that's awesome that you're a librarian! :goodvibes I'm finishing my last semester of grad school now so I'll be looking for a librarian job very soon.

Just called and add the dining plan to our ressie using the CM discount of $32.99/person/night. No extra cost up front because I already payed the one night deposit. :thumbsup2

Also bought our MVMCP tickets for 12-18! :cheer2::santa:

Great itinerary (love me some Liberty Tree Tavern) and :thumbsup2 for getting your MVMCP tickets :cool1:

Nice that you are taking so much time to see all of the resort's decorations and yay for all the discounts making the trip so economical!

My close friend/college roommate is also getting her masters in library science!

We've never done LTT for dinner, so we're pretty excited about that. Now we're just waiting for our Mickey mail!

I've been playing around with the Personalized UG Touring Plans, and I like what they've been giving me, except on our first (DHS) day. The wait times estimated on the plan and the times estimated in other parts of the site are not matching up AT ALL, with the plan times almost an hour more than the other ones! This isn't happening for any other day. :confused3 And I'm more inclined to go with the lesser ones-they seem more accurate to me.

Test Track is also throwing a wrench in things. Will it actually even be open? I can't put in a single rider line option. This would probably be the thing we skip if need be.

But here's what I've got so far.

Day 1: DHS
-Arrive at park around 4pm.
-Animation Academy (We haven't done this since February, when we had a bad experience drawing Buzz Lightyear. But I drew Grumpy and Chip pretty successfully on previous visits, so I think we'll give it another go).
-Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Single Rider (~13 minute wait)
-Tower of Terror (~20 minute wait)
-Head over to Fantasmic for 6:30pm show.
-Osbourne Lights ~7pm.
-50s PTC at 8:20pm.

Day 2: MVMCP
-LTT at 4:25pm
-Buzz Lightyear
-Castle Light Show
-2 1/2 hours of free time to meet characters or whatever (Tinkerbell & Periwinkle, Cinderella & Family, Merida, Mickey & Minnie)
-Holiday Wishes
-Celebrate the Season Show
-Christmas Parade
-BTMRR
-Haunted Mansion
-Under the Sea
*I was so disappointed to see that Belle wasn't meeting in her Christmas dress this year. BUT she is in the parade wearing it, so I guess that's okay.

Day 3: AK & MK
Arrive at AK around 10am
-Get Safari FP
-Tusker House at 10:30am
-Ride Safari
-Arrive MK around 9pm
-Buzz Lightyear
-Celebrate the Magic (Watched a YouTube video and my jaw was on the floor, really excited about this!)
-Wishes
-BTMRR
-MSEP at 11pm

Day 4: Epcot
I may or may not be working this morning. Either way, someone will get FPs for Soarin' around 10:30am.
-Chefs de France at 12:40pm
-Soarin' (use FP)
-Test Track FPs
-Wander World Showcase and view some of the holiday storytellers
-Candelight Processional at 5pm
-Test Track (use FP or Single Rider)
-Mission: Space Green
-Spaceship Earth
-Dinner at Sunshine Seasons
-IllumiNations (I so miss seeing this every night and I'm so excited for the holiday tag!)

Looks like a great plan you have there! Its so fun to see you days (potentially) laid out so nicely!

Generally our plans go as they should, barring weather or...heaven forbid...air control traffic problems (but that's another story much further in the future on my wdwcp trip report!)

We now have what I'm calling the Magic Envelope. It's the Magical Express envelope, and in it is not only the luggage tags and ME booklet, but also our resort and airline confirmation info, our MVMCP tickets, and the two e-tickets for Mom to use. :thumbsup2

Did online check in this morning! Only 10 more days! :cheer2:We changed our Tusker House ADR to a Crystal Palace one at 10:20am.

You're getting SO close to going ... Wilderness Lodge at Christmas time is SO beautiful, you'll really enjoy yourself!

I love that you have everything so well planned out - I always enjoy writing my plans down as well, it just makes the planning process less stressful!~

You and your Mom remind me of me and my Mom, and I will certainly be joining in your TR to read all about the fun!~
