Yesterday I went to Michael's with my 40% off coupon, only to buy a magazine. Then I had a hard time deciding which scrap magazine to get. I chose CK and thought I would come back and get a few more at the end of the week (payday). Well, I was at the car dealership today getting the oil changed, and I glanced in the garbage can and there was the BRAND NEW issues of Memory Makers and Simple Scrapbooks! I grabbed them and now get to enjoy them for FREE! It made my morning.

Aw that is great; it would make me smile too! I still get excited when I find a quarter in someone's pocket when I am doing the laundry so two magazines would be quite a find: congratulations!

Yea for you! And I was thinking the same thing...who would throw those away? When I do buy scrapping magazines I add them to my "ideas" collection so I can reference back when I get stuck!
