Love the pics, thanks for sharing. So, how's the weight loss coming? I am stuck at a loss of 30lbs. I have cheated a few times but I keep getting back on my diet. I guess I need to get on that wii again...hahaha Oh and btw I'm a big chicken on rides too... I'll do the matterhorn @ DLR but was scared to death to do space mountain but FINALLY my dd talked me into it. It was a little scarry but I got through it and was able to enjoy it. Now I'm wanting to try expedition everest and the Mummy at US.. We'll see how that goes... I mostly don't like things that go upsidedown or are in the dark that go fast where I can't see. I know I know mummy is in the dark and EE goees backwards fast but I'm still gonna try it. wish me luck!

hey GenGen..things are going good on my diet...Ive lost 55 lbs total..as the diet goes you are on it for 43 days then off for 21 and then off for a few weeks before going back on...since I am pressed for some time right now I did 40 days then off for 21 and Im back on...as always when restarting another round you have to load for 2 days (meaning eat whatever you wantand I did..) I gained 11 lbs in 2 DAYS!!! but its not my true weight and im pretty much almost back to my original weight prior to going off ...im only off by 2lbs...dropped 9 in 5 days so not bad...this is going to be a mini round of only 23 days I think it is and Im hoping to finish dropping my load weight and get another 10lb drop before I leave...

I had been waiting to buy my dress for the wedding until it got closer to the time I was leaving..didnt want to push it either....so my dilemma was 2 things...
1. because Im losing weight I dont know what size to get
2. price....and if you have been shopping or even looked at special occasion dresses lately you will know they are not CHEAP!!

I actually have been looking since I found out I was going to the wedding..found sites and also Andrea found a couple and I loved some of the dresses...I have to show you my favorite one

however, that one is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much money..and its really long so then I found this other one that was very similar to the one above just shorter and fell in LOVEEEEEEE with it...its no longer available so I cant show a picture but the problem was the $$ AND they didnt have black...only white...i cant be wearing white to a wedding sheesh!

so anyways, finally I found this one:

I have 5 criteria for my dress:
1. has to not be tight
2. has to come to mid calf
3. has to make sure it doesnt show undergarments in the top portion
4. has to be a good price
5. has to be easy to get wrinkles out of

I kept watch on the dress and found that it had gone down from $120 to $89.99...now that was a little to high for me still but I kept my eye on it...I still also had my other concerns but the more I looked at this dress the more I liked it...anyways, I recently got a coupon for 30% off which would bring it down to $62 and I thought this is it!! its time!! so I bit the bullet and bought the dress knowing it wasnt going to get any cheaper than that...so yesterday the dress came in...I was really nervous to open it up but when I put it on I started squealing for joy because it met every stinking one of my criteria...it was as if the dress was made specifically for me...the material is such that you can squish it and fold it and do whatever to it and it still wont get wrinkled...I absolutely it!! and I got my shoes already although I have lost some weight in my feet since I purchased them and now i cant take them back because I wore them already just to get a trial run in them but oh well I probably wont have them on long anyways

next thing is to find some decent hair products to help with the humidity....anybody have suggestions????

all I have to say is AWSOME job Lynn!!!! Way to go!!! Your doing great and the dress looks great. I bet you were excited when you tried it on!!!! I tried on my jeans yesterday and one pair fit and the other almost fit. So, I'm gonna push hard for the next month and get 10lbs off so I can fit my jeans and my new hooded sweatshirt that is insulated with wool that I got for my bday from my dad. I just want to look good when I go to WDW. Lynn I think it helps to have other buddies trying to accomplish the same things and encourage them and then they don't have to travel the lonely weight loss journey alone. I am happy to have had a chance to get to know you.

yay today is friday its friday..I have a super busy weekend ahead of me and Im trying to get stuff done around here that needs to be done because I dont know when Im going to have time to do it before next week...Im saying this as Im sitting here on the computer drinking hot tea and still in my pjs...Ive already done some things but Im taking a break before I have to jump in the shower and go out...tonight is the kids school carnival so Im going to be going to that..tomorrow night we are going out to the country to this place called Frightmare Farms and they have a haunted house and hayride...I wont be doing those because the kids will be too scared to go on them but I heard they have a more tamer hay ride and corn maze for them so we will do that....then on sunday we go back out to the pumpkin patch we were at last weekend again and then of course monday its trick or treat time...hopefully I will have some pics to post soon...have a great weekend everybody.....

Hey everyone...hope you are all fine...well, the countdown has begun...I have 24 days till I leave for walt disney world and Im so excited!!!!!!!! I meant to come on and post earlier in the week but it just got too hectic for me...had a good halloween...trick or treating with the kids....their carnival was good as well...the only pics I have back is one from the pumpkin patch we went to last sunday and then one of the kids in their costumes..

everything is coming along nicely...Ive dropped a few more pounds so now total I have lost 61lbs and I walked over a mile on Halloween so I am starting to get confident that things are going to go easier for me once Im at wdw than I previously thought...the weather has dropped significantly here...its in the 50's and got down to 39 last night...Im like um what state am I in again??? California is NOT supposed to get this cold unless you are up in the mountains...oh well...I went out and ran my errands earlier so now I can stay in and keep warm and spend the rest of the weekend relaxing Have a good one all!!

WOW!!!!! 61lbs!!! That's AWESOME!!!! What a great job. I got stressed and started cheating on my diet... I know I know bad bad bad.... I've lost 30lbs. If I start back tomorrow, which I plan to I know I will be able to fit my jeans in 30 days... So I'll be dedicated. It really helps to read when someone else is doing well. It gives me courage to try again. I can't wait cuz we will both be at the world in less than a month!!!!!

yep Im really proud of myself and Im gaining stamina as well which I am tremendously glad about....Im still worried though about whether or not Im going to fit right in the seat on the plane as Im flying SW and oh the horror stories Ive heard...Ive really tried to put it out of my head but as the time gets closer its coming up again more frequently...

anyways, I was talking to my daughter this morning (shes in Long Beach) and she said she was trying to see if there were half day tickets into DL so that maybe we could go as a sendoff the night before...oh how I would love that but I cant remember if thats even possible...I remember a few years back, seeing something on the ticket booth signs saying that if you come to the park after 4pm there is a discount but I cant remember...I think I will post that over on the DL side of the boards just to see...if not its ok because we are going to go to dinner somewhere in downtown disney and walk around and window shop...I also have to look for a 2012 shotglass..I unintentionally started collecting them back during the 50th anniversary and have one for every year since..Im also going to get a 2012 wdw shotglass and they have this awesome christmas mug over there that Im dying to get

Well it has begun...first MVMCP started yesterday and Ive been reading some great LIVE posts and got to see some pics...this person MickeyHunter was there and was posting live all through the night and told everyone about the character meeting spots and how crowded it was NOT!!!..I just know that when I go it will be crowded for sure........................anyway, MH also posted some merchandise and I already know what shirt I want to get:

Anyhow, let me know about the DL 1/2 day thing what you find out because I am already planning to go to DL in October 2012 to go to see all the Halloween stuff as I have never seen it before and will probably fly into LA on a Friday afternoon and would love to do a 1/2 day at DL and I want to go to MNSSHP too... I'm addicted to Disney. I also want to go on a Disney cruise and go to Disney Paris and Aulani... But the Paris and Hawaii will definately have to wait for a while...

About MVMCP.. I want to get the pins for our Pin collection and hopefully they have a WDW magnet as I collect magnets from all the places I go. That's kind of like the shot glass collection. I also want to get a extra large sleep shirt from WDW doesn't have to be MVMCP but it would be nice

and as for the shows at MVMCP the one thing I know is that my friend said the Totally Tomorrowland show is retarded and she said I wouldnt like it so Im going to go with her word on that one...The Celebrate the Season show is with Mickey and MInnie and the whole gang in front of the castle..(im def. seeing that one) and you CANT miss the parade...its not as good as DL's christmas parade but there are quite a few of the same characters such as the marching wooden soldiers and santa and the reindeers so you HAVE to watch it...and Holiday wishes are the fireworks and snow...I have a list of all the characters and where they will be but alas Ariel is not one of them sorry but heres the link:

Im like OMG I ONLY HAVE 11 DAYS LEFT!!

Ive had a slight change in plans from what we were originally going to do...we've decided to go down to LA 4 days earlier than planned and have Thanksgiving with my aunt so Ive been busy getting my house in order and packing...my daughter came home from school yesterday and Im so happy shes here...we are going to go ahead and decorate the house for Christmas this weekend due to the fact that we wont be back till the week before Christmas and I wont want to do it then...that way when we get back its all decorated and I guess we need to decide what to get for the kids for presents so my daughter can shop while Im gone..going to get my oil changed on monday and I think I better replace the windshield wipers just to be on the safe side

I kept my grandson last night because his mom went to see the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn and she didnt think she would be able to wake up and get him ready for school so I picked him up yesterday and kept him overnight and took him to school this am..he and his sister are off all next week and I will probably get him one more time before we leave..Im sure going to miss them and wish they could go with me but its not in the cards this time around..some day

Have a busy busy weekend plus Im going to see breaking dawn tomorrow and Im looking forward to that...I did the midnight showing for the first 2 films but I cant handle all those screaming people acting retarded all night...they start lining up at like 9am and have to stay out there till around 10pm...way too cold for me...Im just doing it tomorrow when its calmed down a teensy bit

Ya I can't believe it's less than 2 weeks now!!!!! WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!

The decorating idea is great!!! I'm still debating on a Christmas tree this year. If I'm gonna do it I have to do it the Day after Thanksgiving and I have no clue how that's gonna go... I have friends that already have started wrapping presents and I decided I'm gonna do the same this week as I have already done some shopping. I usually do the Black Friday shopping thing but am upset how they're doing it this year... They are starting BF on Thanksgiving night!!!! I mean come on... TG is supposed to be a family holiday and now it's all about shopping... I'm kinda disappointed about that. But enough about the downers of the holidays... WE'RE GOING TO WDW!!!!!!

wow the time has really flown hasnt it? I havent been on here because I got pretty sick last week and Im still trying to recouperate...Im almost there...today we leave for LA and Im all packed and ready to go!!! I will be on and finishing up the PTR before I leave for FL but I just wanted to share a poem I wrote a little ways back in regards to my trip:

I had a dream that began long ago
of castles, a mouse, and fairydust aglow
I was only age 6, yes, just a mere girl
running around, flying pony tails and curls

I continued that dream well into my teens
even though my passion was now Shaun Cassidy and jeans

As I grew into adulthood and that dream seemed to fade
I would wish upon a star and each night I would pray
to believe and to trust that my dream would come true

well the time has finally come to wrap up this PTR....its been really nice here in so cal this week..in the high 70's low 80's...Im having a down moment right now so I thought I would go ahead and write this up before everything goes crazy here in a bit my daughter went back to Long Beach last night for school today but she will be coming in this afternoon to stay the night here...tomorrow night we are driving back there as I am staying the night with her... and since DL is on the way we are going to go hang out in DTD for a couple hours...my flight leaves early wed. morning at 7:50 so we have to leave her house at around 5ish..I have about an hour layover in Denver before heading on to MCO and I should arrive in Orlando about 5:30 I think...

well total in all I have lost about 68lbs and I have another few days on this part of the diet...its been a little hard because of me getting so sick so I wasnt able to keep up with the amount of calories I should be eating and Im afraid its going to cause some issues once I go off because I really didnt eat alot during the majority of this phase but what can ya do?...Im going to be off of the diet till Christmas then its right back on for me again

Im really nervous about getting on that plane and not being able to put both armrests down...I will be happy once I board the plane and can see for myself..

well its been fun writing all this stuff down and Im glad that those of you who came over here read my ptr ...I hope all of you had a really nice Thanksgiving and I will definitely do a TR once I get back...thanks again to everyone who participated and see you after I get back

I'm glad you didn't have any issues with Southwest. That's GREAT to hear I'm also glad you had a blast. We had fun but we have to admit that we prefer Disneyland over DisneyWorld. I don't know how you feel about it but I guess we're just used to it being so busy and WDW was more laid back. I hate to say it but we were bored some of the time. I haven't posted my TR either, just haven't had time. And this is the first time I have been on here since I have been back... I just have wayyyyy too much going on and not enough time to get it all done. It will all settle down probably this week...ugh...
