Wow, thanks for all the Halloween pictures. The fireworks look amazing and rather different from the norm! And it will be fun to sample the special treats!
I am kind of looking forward to seeing DL by myself. I am a type A tourer, and like to see everything and do everything (thank you, touring plans) and the rest of my family sometimes objects to that pace! So I won't bug anyone by pushing it. Are the single rider lines faster for most of the rides? I have never done them, but hope it will save me some time too.
And I want to see WOC, so I am trying to decide if I want to splurge and try to get a sit-down dinner, order a picnic, or just go for a fast pass. I have a careful budget but I can go for a nice meal once.
Your grandchildren are darling. How far away do they live?
single rider lines are usually pretty fast...now if you are there on a really busy day then idk how that will go but I think you should be fine..wow its really hard for me to tell you which dining place to splurge on because there are quite a few that I would choose from however, being that you have never seen WOC, I would say go for that one...orcapotter, whom I have posted a link to her TR in here went and did it and she describes her experience very well and I think it just might be all the convincing you will need

so you should definitely read it...
Just in case you don't have it, I have the recipe for that. Let me know if you don't have it and want it!
Your title reeled me in (just as I was about to close down the computer and go to bed!). Those were quite some paragraphs in that first post, but you write like I think so I just squinted my eyes and went for it.

How AMAZING to have found such a friend, who could rope your anti-Disney (by the way I was like that, too, throughout my 20s) daughter into helping get you out for MORE Disney!
We had our first WDW trip last December...little hint...be *prepared* for cold. Serious nasty cold. Not just a cold snap, but it was colder out there, literally freezing, than it was back home in western Washington state, for most of our trip. Bring a coat, scarves, gloves, a hat, toasty socks... And then hope the temperatures are more normal and you don't need them! We *thought* we were prepared but we simply were not. My husband doesn't switch to long pants until it hits 32 out here, usually...and he was nearly in tears while watching Illuminations one night, it was SO cold.
Your grandkids are just gorgeous!
hi bumbershoot and I'm so glad you are over here...I'm so glad you liked the title..I remember telling Andrea that I needed to come up with a name for my TR and she was all like hmmm

...and I go I know, (just joking) I could call it the I always wanted to go to wdw but i never got to then i was going to and i couldnt and now i finally am TR...and she said YEAH YEAH say it like that ...run it all together...when I did it though, it wouldnt all fit

so I had to smoosh it down some

.. thanks for the offer but I posted that recipe for everybody like 3 yrs ago on the DL boards and I notice that every year the same post comes back up over there

i've never made them though...firstly, I dont know if I'm afraid they may not come out as yummy and secondly I cant eat them now anyway because it has pumpkin in it and I am limited on things I can have

...ooh I know all about that cold spell...Andrea showed me pics of SNOW???

i will die if that happens this year...I am such a cold person as it is..wow 32º???

I dont even turn my air on till its at least 85º in my house and sometimes not till its 90

so I will die for sure...what I'm really hoping is that it will be nice and warm and toasty over there...I want to wear pants and long sleeves and a jacket but not have to wear a big burly coat you know???
thanks both of you for the compliments on my bb's

..Pittypat, they live just on the other side of town...I pick them up from school 3 days a week and keep them while mom and dad are at work...they are both disney fanatics too...my grandaughter gets to go to DL alot because her father's mother takes her but my poor grandson wants to go soo bad and I cant take him.

his birthday is coming up and we were really trying to figure out a way to take him for his bday but its just going to be too costly...mainly cause of these darn ticket prices

...oh well we are going to save up and split the cost to take him as soon as school lets out for summer next year so that he can go to CARSland..hes a car finatic so I know he will love it
