We don't have any cool National Parks in MO that cost money that I know of.

But we have a ton of state parks and they are all free all the time.

I'm headed up to the mountains (Shenandoah National Park) this weekend to go camping and I didn't know it was free to enter! Yay!

I'm buying an annual NPS pass soon anyways because where I go on my bike rides a few days a week is not free (the historic tour roads in Yorktown) but they don't collect money either (there's signs and you're "supposed" to drive a few miles away to pay the park entrance fee at the Visitor Center). I've only been several times this year and I feel guilty and know how much the NPS suffers financially so I'll be buying my pass soon
