I was curious about something so maybe y'all can help. I will be at Disney world on thanksgiving day this year. What does everyone recommend as far as a thanksgiving feast? Or if Disney offers something special on Thanksgiving, what would it be? Thanks everyone...:yay:

You may want to post this on the restaurants board. But, in 2009 we had Thanksgiving at Disney and had our dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and had a delicious Thanksgiving meal with turkey, mashed potatoes and all the fixings. It was actually our best CRT meal. :thumbsup2

Most TS restaurants will offer special menu items for Thanksgiving. Some of it is typical holiday food, but some more unique or has a twist. The wdw website has more information about what locations offers holiday meals and cuisine/food type.

Btw, check the restaurants board. There a recent thread about the "Best Thanksgiving Dinner"

We were there last Thanksgiving and we ate at Rose & Crown. They had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner which was really really good!

Sorry guys I thought I had posted this in the restaurant forum. So what restaurant would you recommend in the boardwalk area?

We were there for Thanksgiving 2012 and had our dinner at the Liberty Tree restaurant. The food was fine...however, because of the amount of people waiting to be seated, they seemed to hurry you through the meal. Also, I thought the waiter should have been just a bit more friendly. I don't think he ever made eye contact with us at all. It was our first Thanksgiving at Disney, next time I will definitely choose a different restaurant.

My fist recommendation would be to book something kind of quickly! We were there last Thanksgiving and ate at Boma. I actually wanted to do this and it was OK....but I doubt I would do it again. Our family mainly liked the traditional Thanksgiving fare they had. Some good ressies may be more difficult to find.

I hear LTT and Whispering Canyon Cafe are good but wouldn't know personally.

This will be our 6th trip to Disney for Thanksgiving. We try for unusual dinner and not traditional Most places as mentioned have traditional dinner like Ohana and Liberty Tree You mentioned Boardwalk area even Flying Fish had a traditional dinner but hurry up and look for ressies as most places are filled up by now also think about Downtown Disney one year we booked too late and ate at Fultons (this year honestly I'll be happy with a sandwich from Earl of Sandwich!)
