It's snowing in Vegas!!!!!!

Wow, thats great for you!! I wish I could get that excited for snow. Here in Michigan we are under a winter storm advisory My kids have already had 2 snow days off from school, and 1 delay. They are hoping for another one Friday, and based on the forcast they probably will get it. Christmas break may start early this year.

We ended up getting about 4" in our front yard, other place got almost 9"!
It's a big deal for us, and the school district had to call a snow day for today. It's the first time in 30+ years . We don't own any snow plows except a few up at our Mt. Charelston so everyone is socked in

I know you people in Michigan are laughing at us, but we're havin FUN!

I can't believe it! My kids are having a ball! I work at a preschool in Green Valley and they closed for the day!!! It's a snow day!

We had snow here in Louisiana last week!!! It very rarely snows here! We had about 4 inches at our house!!! The kids loved it!!!!

That was so nice to see the snow in Vegas on the news!!!

Hey all, I'm here in North Idaho. We just got 30" of snow in the last 48 hours! That's a huge amount even for us. We broke local records and everything. Now we're waiting on two more storms to come through in the next few days. We may be buried here!

I'm not laughing at you. I'm jealous. I wish I lived somewhere that didn't get much snow. As predicted my kids are home from school again today. That makes the 3rd snow day this year. Maybe January will be better.

I do not envie the snow, I live in the snowbelt in OH. We had a ice storm last night. Everything was covered. I had to let my car run for 30 mins this morning just do defrost the windows. We had school!! We are waiting for another storm to blow through, and the rain that had been falling all morning and afternoon is now freezing, YEAH!! It will be 15 degrees on Tues/Weds.

I wish I was somewhere warm!!

here in Wisconsin, it has lost it's prettyness quality ( Is that a word? )
today is the first offical day of Winter. we have about 35 inches of snow on the ground to share

I LOVE the snow and we did get some last night BUT it was followed by a severe ice storm = our 4 inches is now completly covered with 2 inches of solid ice. The freezing rain encased everything and it's losing it's fun factor quickly. Most of my friends and family are without power/heat . The power lines are snapping like WDW tourists on a hot/humid day!

Upside is that I have become an expert at tire chain installation! Downside is I haven't done any Christmas shopping or birthday shopping for my boys (payday was Friday, storm hit while I was working Saturday) and I'm not going out unless I have to. Oh bother.....
