It's raining

We were supposed to have a neighborhood party tonight, outside, with McGruff the Crime dog and everything. All the kids are going to be so sad. I'm sad. We were going to go and bring Monty and I made cookies and everything.

I'll sympathise. DH and I have beeing doing DIY outside in the rain all day!! It was warm though and the jobs needed to be done.

It seems to have stopped for now. But there are going to be thunderstorms all night. I hope we can have a little party at least, but I think for everyones safety they may end up calling it off.

It's not raining here on the Cape yet. I hope it's nice through the weekend!

Must be that darn Tropical Storm/hurricane off the coast that is bringing the rain. The kids are outside playing in it and having a BLAST!

So sorry your plans are ruined. If you want to share the cookies I'll take some! (After all it is my birthday next week and I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE cookies!!)

The rain stopped, and although the DJ packed up and left when the rain started, we still had a great night with our neighbors. It was / is National Night Out, a night where neighbors get together and have some snacks and fun.

Monty dog met two other little dogs (a Bichon named Muffy and a Lab Puppy named Daisy) and a big snake named Mystique. We met some of our new neighbors who just moved here and had fun with neighbors we've know for a while. The neighbors kids all had a blast playing with Monty Dog and Monty got to see a fire engine up close and personal. It was a great night!
