It's Packing Day!!! We leave for Poly--anyone else?

Today we begin serious packing for our trip to the LVC Polynesian. We're leaving at the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday and driving straight through from Virginia.

I have three little ones to pack for -- so it takes a day or two. Our suitcases have been sitting out for the past week and this morning the kids have been packing their backpacks with toys! Now to clean out the car.......

Anyone else headed for the Polynesian this week?

I think the best part of the trip is right when it begins...the whole trip is still all there in front of you...all that anticipation.

We will be at the Poly this week too. DW, DD (5) and I arrive on Tuesday for 4 day LVC. Then the 7 day Magic cruise and finally 3 days at the AKL. Will be packing today also. Hope to see you there!

hey... we have a five year old too ... actually a 5, 7 and 8 year old ... so I'll be the one in the lounge each morning getting fruit and cereal for my kiddos... we also love to watch the fireworks from the lounge. Is this your first time at the Polynesian?

The kids are so excited and at the moment having major arguments over which toys get to go in the backpacks!!!!!

We'll be the white-est family at the pool---mom, dad, and 3 boys (8, 6, and 2) We burn, never tan so we're easy to spot Hopefully I'll be holding a tropical drink of some sort, too. See you soon and safe travel!!!

We'll be at the POLY one week from today (Me, DH, DD10, DD4). Driving in from upstate South Carolina. 1st stay on-site. We're staying GVC through 7/10/04. Suitcases are in the living room partially packed. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.

We had a contest last week to see who in the family could go the longest without talking about our trip. Whoever won got to choose our meal for the ride down. DD(10) won. I never made it through the first hour. I'm worse than the kids when it comes to a Disney vacation.

TINKS: Our family will be a close second to being the "whitest" family there. No tans here either.

Hope to see some fellow DISers in the Concierge Lounge.

Oh, Michele, you are checking into the Polynesian on the best day of the year to be there -- the 4th of July!

Have a wonderful time and maybe we'll see each other. We'll be there tomorrow but won't be checking out until Monday 7/5 and heading over the GF for a few days after that.

I'll also be one of the untan ones there ... but my DH and children tan once the first day of spring arrives!

I'll be in the lounge with DD (8), DS (7), DS (5) ... so maybe our kids will have fun together in the pool.
