If WEDWDW's comment is supposed to be a joke, it isn't funny.

If it is actually true, I will be thrilled to see them again one day in Epcot with my extended family.

I guess only time will tell...

Um, getting someone's hopes up for the sake of "humor" isn't about losing a funny bone. It is about disappointment. I'm a sentimental person, and the idea of Osborne Family lights being shown elsewhere in WDW in the future gave me some hope for some special family memories. If others can't empathize with that, that is fine, but it isn't necessary to make jokes and send an eyerolling emoji at my expense. It just isn't nice in my opinion.

When something is actually funny, I will laugh my behind off.

It's also not necessary to be so easily offended. They obviously meant no harm by their response and they obviously weren't being serious, sorry you couldn't tell the difference. You're aren't the only person who will miss the lights, but if the Osborne Family can be gracious about this, so can we.

Honestly, I don't know why you would've gotten your hopes up when WEDWDW used a winking smiley. That should've told you it was a joke.
