Hi everyone!!:yay:
I've been reading everyone's trip reports for sometime now, and I've always wanted to do one of my own!

I'm Toni & I'll be headed to Disney World in May!

My boyfriend will be with me and I couldn't be more excited to share this trip with him! We've been to Universal together many times, and to Disney together twice, but both of those times with family. This will be our first just us Disney trip!

This was our first Disney trip that we took with my Dad for our 16th birthday in 2012(we're two days apart). We look like babies here...

This was our birthday trip in 2014, we went that year with my brother and Mom.

I'm super excited to share my planning details with you all! DBF does not want to be apart of the planning much. He isn't much of a decision maker but that doesn't immune him to hearing me talk about all of the details day in and day out! He will pretty much go with whatever I have planned. He agrees that his trips would not be as coordinated if it wasn't for me! So bear with me as I try to write my first PTR! :cheer2:

This is me, Toni! I'm 18 and live in Florida. I've been going to Disney since I was born. I have so many memories from Disney World, and it has always been my escape. My dad was always a super planner, so it's no surprise I turned out with two notebooks full of plans for a 3 day trip. All my friends know that if they go on a trip with me, that when I say we need to be there at 7 the park probably doesn't open until 9.. Oops. My favorite rides are Splash Mountain, Rock 'N' Roller-coaster, and Mount Everest.

This is my DBF, Oscar. He's 18 and lives in FL as well. We have been together for a little over three years now, but I've been best friends with him since freshman year. When I first met him I think he was just as obsessed with Disney as I was, but after going to Universal a million times it's so hard to pry him away. If it was up to me we'd drop our Universal AP and be at Disney every month for the next five years(I've been in his ear about that for the past two years..) but he's very stubborn. Nevertheless, he's excited to be going to Disney! He's never done mine train or toy story!

This trip was very out of the blue and starts off with a not so happy beginning..
A little background info you'll need to know, my best friend, Stephanie and I, decided to spend four fantastic days in WDW. March 5-8 were the dates. We met our freshmen year of high school and have been inseparable ever since. We both work for Justice, a girls clothing store and have been there for 2 years. Here's a photo from that trip:

When in line for Haunted Mansion, we get a call from our manager(who felt no need to have sympathy in the fact that we were on vacation) telling us our store would be closing. We are both very attached to our job and were at first furious that she would bring this news to us on vacation, but being in the happiest place on earth we soon started to see the bright side. It only took me about another day of this trip before I texted my DBF letting him know my store would close in May along with a very detailed very convincing "PLEASE CAN WE GO TO DISNEY WORLD" message. He responded with how much, and once I told him I expected a solid no, but instead got back a "sureeee". I was more than ecstatic.

So there I was on our last two days of our trip, planning my second magical journey. As much fun as it was experiencing the world with Steph I couldn't wait to go back with the DBF!

Up Next... We're we are staying!

The dates that we will be going are May 17-19! I wanted a Mon, Tues, Wed trip but DBF works on Wednesdays so I settled for a Sun, Mon, Tues and hoping the SWW crowds won't kill our Sunday! Sunday is also my mom's birthday so I'm hoping she isn't too upset we won't be here, she isn't much of a birthday person anywho.

We will be staying at.. Pop! in a preferred room. Neither of us have ever stayed here, but I've heard so many wonderful things about the place, so when it was the cheapest value resort I was more than happy to book! Last time, I stayed at All Stars Music, and it was okay. The walk from the building to the buses was terrible, we requested close to the buses and they put us as far away as they possibly could! I've heard so many wonderful things about Pop! if any of you have any opinions please tell(: I'm also really excited that AoA is so close, I'm hoping to have some downtime to walk around that resort. Anyone with any good or bad Pop! experiences?

Next Up.. Official Park Schedule.. sort of official

Sort of Official Park schedule

Our arrival day is May 17th, we will be getting to Pop! at around 6:30 and hopefully making it to AK by 7:30 to activate our tickets and go to the EMH. My plan is to hopefully be out of AK by one.
Originally the time between AK and our first FP at HS(6:50) was to be spent at Pop! and AoA but I'm contemplating if going to Epcot for an hour or two would be worth it, solely to do the Disney Visa Character M&G. Any opinions?

On May 18th, we are dedicating that day to just the Magic Kingdom, with a small break at the room to rest.

On May 19th we are going to Hollywood Studios for as long as it takes, and then hopefully having enough time to finish our trip in my favorite park, MK.

I really enjoy the environment at Downtown Disney so I'm hoping to spend one night there and one night relaxing checking out the arcade etc. at our resort. I'm just not sure what night should be which, any opinions? We will be at HS until 11 due to Fantasmic on our first night, and we will be at Magic Kingdom until wishes is over, so probably about the same time? Opinions?
Up Next.. Our must dos

The POP with a preferred room is the way to go! Their food court is pretty good( and stays open fairly late) the in-house store is huge
and the pools are nice. I have stayed there 4 times now (even though I liked the AKL, and the WL and the Port Orleans) cause I am too cheap when I go it alone. Worse comes to worse if the POP's busses are full, use the AoA bus and walk over the bridge. ENJOY!
