Good job getting out yesterday. I got a speed workout in on Monday, that's probably it until Saturday.

Does it seem weird that it is just you and I talking for the last two weeks?

I do kinda feel like I'm talking to myself sometimes, however, strangely I do that a lot....hummmm wonder what that means!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Great job on the speed workout!! I really need to fit those in a bit. Any tips on good techniques/plan of action for speed? I could Google it but I'd rather her it from someone who has tried it!


AFM- I got out and did a walk run with my little niece Olivia today! It was cooler but I got done before the rain! I am a little 'off' schedule for this week. I did Mondays workout on Wed, and did Wednesday's workout today!
It called for 20 minutes run/walk with running for as much as possible. I think I did pretty well! I'm meeting with Margie tomorrow morning to actually get Friday's workout in on Friday! Then I will be all caught up!

I have another BIG test for my Physical Therapy Assistant class next week so this weekend will be spent studying! Just have to keep telling myself it will be over soon and I'll be doing what I love!

Here is my workout from today!

Wonderful windy walk this morning with Margie.

WOD: called for 40 minutes.

TIME: 46 DISTANCE: 2.88 AVERAGE PACE 15.31 CALORIES BURNED: 381!



Days left until race: 70!!!

Next week I add in more running to my weekly workouts! I"m looking forward to it!! Just order a few new items for winter! A winter running skirt and a nice long sleeved shirt! I got them from Sierra Trading post.com and got GREAT deals!!!!

good workout today. I'm not a coach, but I think with 70 days to your race, I would just stick with your plan and not try to add any speedwork.

Today we had a 5k scheduled. It was a great Charity run, since 100% of hte entry fee went to one of 10 Charities. The sponsor picked up the cost of the race and we got a nice long sleeve t-shirt.

Time was amazing, but the Garmin said we only went 2.74 miles.

Mike- Great job on the charity run!!! I did a charity run a while ago and the mileage was a bit off too!! (only 2.7miles). I know that the course we have is "certified" for other runs so my thought would be that I did really well on running a good "line"??? Not sure though!

I'm pretty much sticking to my plan. It does have some "speed" days so I'll just do what it says!
