I am still in some pain from the stupid thing I did in the middle of the night. I had taken my CPAP mask off to go to the bathroom, got back into bed, and noticed that one of the pillows had fallen off the bed and was laying on the floor. So, instead of getting up out of bed to get the pillow, I leaned down to get it. I proceeded to slip, went tumbling out of bed and my head (actually my right ear) hit my CPAP machine on the way down to hitting the floor in a clump. I had injured my right ear when I was in high school (had my head beaten into a brick wall by a kid and split the whole top of my ear widthwise) and I still have some sensitivity. Anyway, it hurt like heck but I could tell it wasn't bleeding. When I woke up this morning it still hurt, and when I looked in the mirror my ear was swollen and all black and blue in the area of the flap above the ear canal. YUCK!!!!!!
My other dumb move (DW doesn't know about this one, yet) was as I was telling DW about this (she was sitting in the other room getting ready), I wasn't paying attention and, instead of putting shaving cream on my face, I took a handful of shaving cream and applied it to my underarms like it was deodorant! I laughed to myself pretty good about that one. I'll tell you it hurt a lot less than my midnight tumble! Anyway, you have to be able to laugh at yourself, and I have been doing that all day!
