Perfect night for a game, wasn't it??

And, speaking of "tags"... I have had mine for years and years and years. The hen party one does not even apply anymore! The friend who was getting married at WDW is expecting twins now!

I would LOVE new tags. Just not certain what tags would fit so I have been extra careful in what I spout here on the DIS. :rotfl:

I have not commented as much really on this thread as I would have liked to. I have been reading and I am thinking about and praying for people, but things have been somewhat frantic in my life recently. I thought the time has come to update people here with what has been going on in my life.

Some of you may remember that I sat the test that you need to apply for British Citizenship in April. Then things got kind of busy. I went on vacation, did my jury duty and then had to wait until I could get an appointment for the Nationality Checking Service. Essentially there are two common ways of applying: directly by mail, which means that you have to send your original documents or through the Nationality Checking Service, where they make copies of everything and hand you your original documents back. As the service standard for processing applications it up to 6 months, going the direct route would not have worked for me, especially as we have a vacation booked in November. Unfortunately I had to wait about 6 weeks for an appointment with the Nationality Checking Service.

Well, last week Tuesday, I finally had my appointment to submit my application, which was received by the Home Office the next day. They debited the fees from my account on Saturday and yesterday I go a letter confirming that they have received the application and the fee. Now the waiting game begins. Best case scenario is a wait of about 2 months and on average it seems to take about 4 months. Please keep you fingers crossed for me.

Corinna

Once they get, and start processing, the application...are you good to leave and come back?

Or do you have to wait for them to issue your new passport/citizenship?

We are very relaxed Disney goers. We spend almost as much time at the pool/resort as we do in the parks. We dont plan an off day. We just plan to leave the parks before 3 and spend the rest of the time at the resort everyday. Lots of rest on our trips.

We do some of that.

But there are basically 3 days (Illuminations, Fantasmic, and MK Fireworks) nights we do "late".

Day 4 (with our 2 ADR's at Epcot) is our "Illuminations" day.

Otherwise, we're usually back to the room by 6..and spend an hour or two by the pool.

 That's eerie! Does it at least have any kind of meaning for you? Tag Fairy works in mysterious ways!!!!

....her 'old fogie-ness' is kickin' in.....and, I see tht SOMEONE around here got a new scrollie....kewl beans! :thumbsup2

Good morning, Jamborinis & Kidanites! :sunny:

Finishing up some packing and then, we are off! Check in with you all sometime tomorrow. :drive:

I agree - you are due some new tags. I have been over to Kimmar's Snarky Bacon Tour 2012 and I can't keep up at all!!! By the time I catch up on the back-reading, I'm already 3 or 4 pages behind again!! But, if you really want new tags, I think that's the place you've got to be!! :rolleyes1

You could come to (or through ;)) ATL you know!!!

But I will accept the assignment as soon as I can get myself there! :thumbsup2

....I had planned on visiting Stone Mountain Park in October - there's a 'craft'(?) fair there every year...when I looked into it, the airfares weren't cheap, so I think I'm just gonna skip that outing....:confused3

You mean Yellow Daisy? It's an awesome craft fair. :goodvibes

Stone Mountain is a really nice park to visit. :thumbsup2

Keep an eye out for an Airtran or Southwest sale. The fares between ATL and New York are usually about $99 each way during the sales.

....I think that's the name of it....the Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort that's nearby is SOOOO awesome-looking too, but it's a little pricey, and I don't know anything about the ATL area so I figured that would be the closest place to Stone Mountain...plus, once my DH was looking over my shoulder as I sat at my 'puter, he decided that THAT'S the place he wanted to stay...

There are other places to stay nearby, but Evergreen is really the nicest AND the most convenient! Come on down!!!

Morning Everybody! :goodvibes

Question...
We went with a standard view room this time. I want to make sure we are as far away from the outdoor smoking section as possible (or we won't be able to use our balcony).
What should I request at check in? :confused3
