 That's eerie! Does it at least have any kind of meaning for you? Tag Fairy works in mysterious ways!!!!

So someone else figured it out for me... I told the tag fairy that I wanted new tags and I guess she put that I am waiting for my tags to retire...and what and see what change I get...

I have not commented as much really on this thread as I would have liked to. I have been reading and I am thinking about and praying for people, but things have been somewhat frantic in my life recently. I thought the time has come to update people here with what has been going on in my life.

Some of you may remember that I sat the test that you need to apply for British Citizenship in April. Then things got kind of busy. I went on vacation, did my jury duty and then had to wait until I could get an appointment for the Nationality Checking Service. Essentially there are two common ways of applying: directly by mail, which means that you have to send your original documents or through the Nationality Checking Service, where they make copies of everything and hand you your original documents back. As the service standard for processing applications it up to 6 months, going the direct route would not have worked for me, especially as we have a vacation booked in November. Unfortunately I had to wait about 6 weeks for an appointment with the Nationality Checking Service.

Well, last week Tuesday, I finally had my appointment to submit my application, which was received by the Home Office the next day. They debited the fees from my account on Saturday and yesterday I go a letter confirming that they have received the application and the fee. Now the waiting game begins. Best case scenario is a wait of about 2 months and on average it seems to take about 4 months. Please keep you fingers crossed for me.

Welllll..... not so much! I have a State Board Meeting in Charlottesville today and tomorrow, but I am skipping out on a portion of it to take Bob to Pennsylvania to see his Dad. My FIL will be 95 tomorrow!! We will turn around and head back home Friday so I can spend the weekend preparing plans for our Preview/Demo lessons for new students next week. I am also trying to finish up my compositions from last session. BUT... I am not teaching so that is relaxing in and of itself. Thanks for asking, Pam!! :goodvibes

Happy Birthday to your FIL!

Try to take it easy, you deserve it :)

...don't quote me on this, but I think he's laughing at you....popcorn::

:rotfl: These little fellas are fed watermelon. Hysterical watching them open wide!! They really are cute, up close and personal! :)

....that's why I'd DEFINITELY plan on a pool day, right around Day 3....you'd be surprised how it catches up on ya...;)

We've got one planned, too..but not until day 6 (about 1/2 way thru).

We are very relaxed Disney goers. We spend almost as much time at the pool/resort as we do in the parks. We dont plan an off day. We just plan to leave the parks before 3 and spend the rest of the time at the resort everyday. Lots of rest on our trips.

Corinna, my fingers are crossed that everything goes smoothly and your wait is short. :goodvibes
