:lmao: This sort of stuff happens to be all the time!!! I'm such a clutz!!! So much so that the people that I worked with used to call me Murphy!!! Matter of fact, they still do when I talk to them, which is often!! :rotfl:

OMG I can't believe how far behind I let myself get with your TR! :scared1: It sounds like you guys are really prepared! I was feeling so ready, but life got in the way of my Disney planning. I am trying to get back on track now, both with my preparations and my DIS reading!

I know Devon must be so excited by now! I know my girls are! :yay:

Congrats to Devon for his first soccer goal! :woohoo: Menley has only been playing for one season, so she hasn't gotten one yet. We will be cheering her on when that happens! :cheer2:

Let's see, what else? I am totally going to use your shopping list! I am also heading to Target to do some shopping in the $1 spot. Just what I need, more Disney shopping! :rotfl:

Talk to you soon! Tomorrow is Sept 1st - the countdown is on!!! :dance3:

Yes, I highly recommend you reading the Harry Potter books.. I think most people would. Especially if you like the movies... The books are a million times better.:thumbsup2

Here's a brief synopsis of the Host I found online:

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. The earth has been invaded by a species that take over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed.

Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.

Melanie fills Wanderer's thoughts with visions of the man Melanie loves-Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body's desires, Wanderer yearns for a man she's never met. As outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off to search for the man they both love.

Featuring what may be the first love triangle involving only two bodies, THE HOST is a riveting and unforgettable novel that will bring a vast new readership to one of the most compelling writers of our time.

I'll admit it was a little hard for me to get into the first couple of chapters, but then I couldn't put it down. I LOVED IT!!!

I suggest getting that book for your flight to orlando! ;)

Thanks for the synopsis!! I think I may get that! Seems interesting... I just love how Stephenie has these supernatural things going on in her book and manages to tie in love!! She is a great writer. Now if I could just find myself an edward cullen, I'd be a happy woman!! :rotfl:

You absolutely HAVE to read Harry Potter!! Devon is about the age that you could read them to him a little every night (the first 3, the last couple get a little heavy)

I didn't think I'd like them and now I'm so hooked I re-read them every now and again. Read the first one and let us know what you think...you won't regret it. :thumbsup2

I think every single woman who has read Twilight, young or old, is at least a little bit in love with Edward Cullen. Even in the movie, when he is playing that song for her on the piano...:lovestruc

Oh. Um. Anyway! :rolleyes1

I agree, the Harry Potter books are an absolute must-read. They are SO much better than the movies. I am seriously thinking about getting The Host for the plane. I am not usually into alien stories, but everyone I know who has read it highly recommends it! :thumbsup2 Let me know what you decide!

Hi just joining your PTR. Your son, Devon is adorable.

I would agree with Reyasmommy that The Host is a good book to pick up. I did not think I was going to like it and I read it in the span of three days, sooooo good.

Can not wait to hear more.

Umm no, you are definitely not crazy! I do that all the time. LOL! Have you seen the gift shop threads where they post pics of all the stores? Those are evil. Though surprisingly this trip I didn't go too nuts on souvenirs.

Where can I find a gift shop thread? I wanna start daydreaming of what i can buy!:flower3:

Aw!!! Kristen I know!!! When he is playing that piano my heart melted!!! Man they picked a great actor for Edward's character!!! I can not wait for New Moon to come out!!! Think I am going to re-read it right before I go to see it!!!

Yeah, I think I am going to read either Harry on the plane ride or The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. I'll keep you posted on what I utimately decide!

Stop by your page today and say...

Hi and thanks for joining in the fun!!! Wow, your trip is so close!!! I'm jealous!!!

A lot of people have really good things to say about the Host, I might have to get that book regardless!!!

Ok, Ok... Before I start this update, I don't know about all you, but I am so excited today is September 1st!!! Why??? Because I can say I go to Disney World THIS month!! WooHoo!!! :cool1: :yay: :woohoo: :dance3:

Alright back on track... So last week, I asked you all if I were the only nut on here that thinks of stuff they want to buy before there actual trip, and I was VERY happy to find out I was not!!! Phew!!! What a relief...

So, there are a few things that I know I WILL buy, only because I but one of each on every trip!!! :rotfl:

Here's the List:
A personalized Christmas ornament for Devon
A beach towel
A magnet

Now, here is the list of things I HOPE to get:
A new snowglobe (I collect Disney snowglobes), but I get nervous they will break on the plan ride.. I did buy one in December, but it was a little one... But it survived the trip home thou!

I really want a Jade bracelet from the China pravillion. I saw one I really liked in '07, but unfortuately, when I want to get it in December, a sting of incidents occured and I was so annoyed I had to get out of China fast!! :rotfl: For one Devon was acting like an absolute idiot and that really pissed me off and two, I lost the pin to my sunglasses, and after searching on the floor for it for 10 minutes I finally found it in my purse!! Ugh!!! Needless to say I was in no mood to shop after all that!!!

I am thinking the Jade bracelet may be a bit expensive, so if it is, I want to get the silver mickey bracelet that you can add the charms to instead. My plan is to get a new charm each trip!

Well that about covers the things I know I want as of right now!!! See, I don't ask for much right? :goodvibes

I really, really want to start planning my weekly itinerary leading up to the trip, but have to keep those plans on hold till after Thrusday when I find out if and when I go back to work! Fingers are crossed that it is the Monday after we return, just b/c I have alot going on, between my school work, Devon going back to school, Devon's soccer and the trip!! Geese, how the heck did I juggle all this when I worked??? :confused3 Ah, I'll be fine once I get back into the swing of things!! :rotfl:

I think that about covers this update!!! Devon has soccer tonight and after that I think he wants to have our Disney movie night!! :yay: His outlook on it is the quicker we get thou the movies the quicker the trip gets here!! :rotfl2: If only that were the case!! Tonights movie The Incredibles!

Have a wondeful day!!! ~Reese

Oh NO!!! Not a Giants Fan!!! Lindsey(mommy of 2 pirates) and I will gang up on you!! :rotfl: Go Eagles!!!

:cool1: I LUV it! Oh yeah and since you brought up football
Goooo Niners! :rolleyes1

Ohhh the Eagles, tell me if you see Kendra! ha ha ha I loved watching her n Mr Basket

The Charm bracelet is a good idea! I might have to copy you on that one! :rolleyes1 That would be a great souvenier!
