It's Never to Soon to go back to Disney: My 1st PTR- Sept. 2009

Hey everyone!! So excited that one week form now I will be all packed (hopefully) and just waiting for tomorrow to get here so we can go to Disney!!!

Well I got to say that this weekend flew by!!! I sure hope the rest of the week does too!!! I had so much to do this weekend it was crazy!!! But, I am happy to report that I bought all of our last minute travel things so we offically have everything we need!! ( I think!!)

So here is a little taste of what I did this weekend other then buy last minute stuff for the trip... Checked in online!!! , went food shopping for a weeks worth of food, did homework, did more homework, cried b/c my homework was fustrating me!! Then I finally threw in the towel and headed to my mom and dad's for a party... Two of our family friends left for the Marines yesterday, so we had a farewell party at my parents house on saturday night for them, it was a good, but sad time!!! We are all so proud of them, but so sad to see them go... Good news is they will be back home for the holidays, so we are excited to see them then!!! I have chatted with both of them on facebook and they have made it safely to Paris Island!!! Wish them all the luck in the world, b/c I know I wouldn't last a day there!!

Yesterday I was at a bridal shower all day so that's basically all I did, nothing too fun and exciting, but enough to pass the time!!

Well, I am on track with my schedule so that is a plus... Everything that I have to do this week basically can't be done till later in the week, i.e. cleaning and wash... So for the next few days I will be consentrating on going to the gym (preparation for all that walking in Disney), school work (both Devon's and mine) and soccer games!! Fun times!!!

I sure hope this week flies by!!! I swear the last week is killer!!!

At 7 days I got my excitment back for my trip, now I can't wait to get outta dodge!

Trip day will be here before you know it and at least you have the weekend to clean up before the trip. Maybe I will see you in passing 1 of the days. Are you wearing any sort of DIS pin?

Yes, we are so excited!!! I think the time will fly with soccer games on Tueday and Thursday night, a hair appt that will take all day on Friday, Cleaning and schoolwork on day Saturday and The Eagles game all day Sunday, I sure hope it goes fast!!!

Hey Chelley, I know!!! We are so excited, all I keep thinking is this time next week we'll be in Disney world!!! I will definitely be doing a full trip report when I get back, so be on the look out!!!

God bless your soul, I's shoot myself if I had to deal with finance crap all day!!! Oh wait I do!!! At least you get paid for it though!

Hi! I can't believe it is time for our trips! I haven't been on the DIS in two weeks The girls both got sick, and then we had our first experience with LICE due to an outbreak at their school. Add that to about a million other things, and I am feeling totally unprepared!! Hopefully you are feeling better about your preparations. Have you seen the weather forecast? Predicting rain for our entire trip. Trying to stay positive! At least we will be in Disney and on vacation!

Hope you guys have a GREAT time! We will look for you at POP!

Hi all!!! Haven't had an update in a while, so I figured I chime in... So its official, we only have alittle over 4 days and some odd hours to go now till our trip!! Can you say EXCITED!!!

Honestly, I am basically ready to go, other then cleaning the house (which I am going to do either tomorrow night or Saturday), doing wash, ironing and packing I am ready to go!!

All by school work is done... Now I just have to hand into my professor which I will most likely do via email on Saturday and/or Monday.

Devon is dying for Tuesday to get here, he has been putting stickers on the Calendar everyday since the beginning of the month counting down till our trip, Well I think this morning, he finally realized how close we are to going now!! He was like mom when I come home from daddy's (he is going to spend the weekend with this dad this weekend since we are leaving for vacation and won't be seeing him for over a week) we only have 1 day to go. So needlesss to say he is anxious for this weekend to come and go!!! As am I!!!

On another note, I spoke with my manger from the company that laid me off, and it looks like my start day to go back to work is going to be 11/2!!! My fingers are crossed that this really happens!

Other then that, that's about all I got, Devon has a soccer game tonight. Hopefully no injuries tonight, that's all I need with Disney less then a week away! During Tuesday nights soccer game he got pelted in the face with the ball, I thought for sure he either lost his 2 front teeth or busted his nose! Luckily he was fine though!! I am going to get my haif done tomorrow morning so I can look all Pretty for my trip! And Devon is getting his hair cut this weekend!!! Other then the important stuff like packing my luggage we are good to go!!

In case I don't get to talk to everyone leaving for Disney in the next few days, HAVE AN AWESOME TIME!!! It was so much fun planning and getting to know you all! Hopefully we will run into each other! Until next update, ta ta for now!!!

Oh no, I am so sorry the girls have been sick, on the bright side, at least it was before the vacation Must be something going around, b/c I was under the weather for a few days last week too! Lice too??? That really stinks, but when there is an outbreak at school, taking preventative measures is best, hopefully the school got it all taken care of quickly.

I guess I am doing ok in the prep department. Other then cleaning the house, washing clothes, ironing and packing I'm good the go! Not too worried, the more I have to do over the next few days, I figured the quicker the days will go till the trip!

Definitely stay positive... I know I am!!! You figure its Florida, pop up t-storms are common, just hoping there quick and non-frequent!

Yep be on the look out for us!!! We'll keep and eye out for you as well!

Amen to that sista!!! I swear if these days go any slower, they be going backwards!! And yeah, why do the days in Disney go so fast? I'm thinking we need to find away to make the days still disney move faster and the days in Disney more slower! Any ideas? LOL!!!
