:cool1: Should I bail after I get the important things finished and go play for the day? We had reservations for a couple days at BW for tonight and tomorrow but had to cancel last week but the day trip either today or tomorrow is still on the menu potentially!

Too bad the parks close so early now after Labor Day during the week (8PM DL, 6PM DCA) but hopefully it will keep the crowds down and we can just go have a nice dinner once DL closes.

I'm a geek and can go to DL for an afternoon on a weekday and feel it was totally the best chioce for the day!

I've decided, if we can't make it today that means tomorrow we will be going for the whole day, getting there for opening at 10:30 and staying until closing time. Still, today is not out of the question!:confused3

My question for the day is if you were at DLR on your birthday what would you have to do? I'm having this urge to row a canoepirate: and some Banyan BBQ beef and veggie skewers are a must! Gibson girl too and my first trip on Toy Story Mania!:dance3: :thumbsup2

You've got to go! If I was within driving distance and it was my birthday, it wouldn't be a question. You only live once and as long as you felt you did the important stuff before you went. Anyway, have fun and happy birthday!:wizard:

You gotta go.

I'm a six hour drive away so I dont have that luxury....

As for your question? I'd have to sit in New Orleans square and eat a churro and drink a frozen lemonade :)

Go get yourself a birthday button, and have a wonderful day at Disneyland! Enjoy your day. I would be there when the park opened, and I would help close it down while eating cake for breakfast with a glass of milk too! LOL
:banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:

Go! Go! Go!

Enjoy it while ya got it. Have a Dole Whip for me! I won't be there till sunday :( but you, birthday babe, you gotta go!

ANSWER: Everything and anything. I'd do my favorites. What ever they are at the spur of the moment...
Sit on Main Street and have some coco in the morning with a muffin maybe. Then go over and see some fave characters. Ride rides, take pics, look at mickey and walt at the hub. On a day that's "yours" one should always do what "they" want! I'm making myself home sick.. Good thing I'm going sunday... phew.

Seems like a no brainer to me. Go GO GO, and Happy Birthday!

Man, you better be there right now, enjoying for those of us who can't just up and go on our birthday!! What would I do? No clue, at least not until I get there!! :) Have FUN!!!

Um, why are you even considering this as a question?! OF COURSE YOU SHOULD GO! Get the important stuff squared away and then get yourself over there! If I could, I so would! Heck, maybe I'll plan a quick trip next June for myself!

Yes, go, go, go, :) and Happy Birthday to you!
Take care of whatever you may really need to first, then.............what you are still here? you best be on your way! :)

What I love to do on my birthday or for my birthday at DL. is what I do when it is not my birthday. ;) he he, POTC, HM, BB, Indy, Thunder Mountain, Tiki Room, Matterhorn, DL. train around the park, petting zoo at Frontier Land, and I might ride the Columbia, now that I know about the birthday button, I shall be asking for that next year. :) you get one too! I have not made it to the Pirates Lair, yet, because my otherwise comfortable shoes were literally digging into my heels, OMG! Pain! so I just could not fathom walking the entirety of the island, but I shall make it next year, unless it is closed for refurbishment.

~~~~~~~~~~~ :flower3: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~
GO! I'm still trying to decide if I will not work on my birthday. It's November 2nd and that's when we're having the Santa Clarita Marathon. Where do you work anyways?
If I get a job within a few weeks (I've applied at Petco and a store in the mall) then I'll definitely do it.
