It's my big 4-0 so we're all gonna go to Disney! COMPLETED w/ highlights video!

What a wonderful (and LONG) day!
That would be so cool to have a private meeting with Cinderalla!!!

That's so great you get to so a few times a year.
Do you miss being a CM?

I REALLY miss working at the Boardwalk front desk. Although I did appreciate working at the Grand Floridian, that was an office & technical position and I really only dealt with people over the phone (except for convention room blocks, then I'd meet the leader, or coordinator) but when I worked at the front desk at the Boardwalk I loved being able to speak directly to guests, help them check in, make dining reservations, buy tickets, answer questions, etc. Plus, I worked with the most wonderful people. I'm still close friends with a lot of the people who I worked with at the Boardwalk & the Grand Floridian (some were at my surprise party).

Day 6 – Our rainy last day

Well, today was check out day – I hate check out day! This had been such an amazing trip from beginning to end. It was another rainy and cold morning. We checked out of our rooms, and had our luggage held for us. We walked into Epcot because the one princess that Victoria was looking forward to meet all week was Mulan and we kept missing her. I promised her that we would get into Epcot early enough to meet Mulan before we had to leave for our flights. So that was definitely priority ONE. So, my mom got the whole group rain ponchos and off we went. We were the first people on the line to see Mulan and Victoria got to meet her, get her autograph and photos with Mulan.

After meeting Mulan we went to The Seas with Nemo so that Samantha could experience this ride, then Turtle Talk with Crush, then over to Soarin’ and then we had lunch at Sunshine Seasons. After lunch we were all sad because it was time to head back to the Boardwalk to catch the DME back to the airport. As we walked back the girls had some fun playing in the rain. It was another cold and rainy day (P.S. every one of us got the flu when we got back home EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US!) We got back in plenty of time to do some very last minute shopping in the gift shop on the Boardwalk, grab some snacks for the flight and get right on the DME. DH & I were in a completely different gate area than everyone else so we said our goodbyes (teary ones at that) and headed off to go through security. I have to just say that this was the best gift that I could have ever gotten. I knew I was going to miss waking up and having breakfast, lunch and dinner with the girls every day!

My birthday wish – well, that’s an easy one -it was to be able to go away with my family again, someday. Turns out, things are going to work out so this can happen again. You see, my DH & I were booked on the Disney Magic cruise to Europe in August 2011. However, about a month or so ago we found out my DH was up for a promotion that would also come with a job transfer. It looked like we’d be moving to South Carolina. And, it looked as if this was going to happen in June (turns out he’s also being considered for a transfer that would take us to Houston – we’re not sure where we’ll end up but it looks like we’ll be moving by July). So, we knew he wouldn’t be able to take 2 weeks off of work in August to go to Europe. We really didn’t know what we should do. He said I could go without him and take my mom or his mom but this was going to be our first time to Europe and I didn’t want to go without him. So, I asked him what he thought about this…..How about I cancel that cruise and use those points to book 2 cabins on the Disney Dream and we can invite Brian, Danielle & the girls! He thought that was a great idea! Now I just had to call them up and see if they were up for it. I spoke to Danielle and said that we had such a great time we wanted to know if they’d be our guests on a Disney Cruise + 4 days at Disney - all on our DVC points and they said yes! So next February we’re all going back to WDW and then on the Disney Dream! I told my mom that I had booked this and she said she had to be a part of it too! So she booked a cabin for herself and Jim. Then my brother found out about it and he said that he and Ellie were going to come as well (although they’re just doing the cruise, not WDW before hand). I couldn’t believe that our entire group was going to get to go on vacation again! So, it looks like I’ll be starting a Pre- Trip Report next! Hope everyone enjoyed this TR, and will join us on our next adventure!

Thanks for following along! I think Disney should make some sort of last day at Disney medicine! Because the day before we leave I start feeling it, and it just gets worse and worse until the DME bus shows up and it's time to go back to the airport!

Great TR... I enjoyed every bit of it.

Add me to the list of turning the big 4-0 this year... I celebrated in WDW in March, just a few days before my actual birthday.

Now, I'm waiting (patiently??) for June 10 when my Mom, aunt, cousin and I visit Mickey for my Mom's 60th!! :goodvibes:goodvibes
