That's what I had to tell my cat after he gave me a look for using his.
We have 2 bathrooms in the apartment so the main one is kinda "extra" since it's just the 2 of us. I have their little box in the tub and their food and water is in the room too.
Because my husband is sleeping and I didn't want to wake him I used the other one. My kitty was in there and he gave me a look like "why are you in here, you have your own."

Doesn't he know who pays the rent???

He doesn't care He is a cat!!! They "own" everything, they only let you use it out of the kindness of their heart.
