It's kind of fun to do the impossible - Disney with a 1 month old *new 2/13/15*

Happy Birthday to Peter! I finally got all caught up today. I've had a busy few months and haven't been around much, but looks like such a great trip for you all. Can't wait to read your final installment.

Happy Birthday Peter! What do they say about 3 year olds? Troublesome Three's??

You cut your own tree?! That is pretty amazing. Is it pretty expensive doing that? I'd think not because you're doing all the work right?

Love that Judi made a list of breastfeeding spots! I've only done number 5 but the others sound like great spots too.

Although you thought the (dis)honarble menion of Peter in the rain was stressful, I thought it was really cute.

You did get some great CM interactions on this trip. Number 1 was really, really cool though!

Happy Birthday to Peter! I didn't realize him and Landen were that close in age... ( Landen turned 3 in October)

Love your top 5 moments! Especially love the places where Emma was BFed. It is amazing how you can do it at Disney and feel comfortable. And the Let it Go reference made me LOL.

That pic of Snow White and Peter is just too sweet for words. <3

Oh wow - never really put it together that Peter and Landen were so close in age - pretty cool!

Thank you! Olivia was 8mo old one trip and got B-Fed a lot of places too. Anything with a boat (Living with the Land, Pirates, etc.) seems to work well

Really is one of my favorite pictures from the trip - and really amazing to think that just 8 months prior when we went in Oct '13 he didn't want to go near any of the characters.

Happy Birthday Peter! Sounds like a great weekend of Christmas/birthday fun!

Great lists! Lots of memorable moments :) (both the good and the bad/stressful! haha)

Was a fun weekend! Though full so we didn't get much done around the house. Still don't have any decorations on the tree - but it is setup :thumbsup2

Hey trips are memorable for lots of reasons and there were some moments of stress - but all things considered the positives way outweighed the negatives :goodvibes

It was a great trip - and one that was very different than past trips, but still lots of fun and full of great memories.

Yeah, "Troublesome" probably fits. He has definitely earned his moniker of "Pistol Pete" :rotfl:

I think it works out a bit cheaper to cut your won - we paid $52 for a 6.5 foot tall tree. We like it though because you get to really see all of the tree to decide which one you want - and since you just cut it they stay green for a lot longer as we try to make it to 3 Kings Day before removing the tree.

Judi grew up out where they have tons of huge Christmas Tree farms and they are super cheap out there. We sometimes go out there partly just to get one and you can get a great tree for like $30 or even less

Olivia had gotten B-Fed at Disney as well so we have learned a lot of places to do it - anything with a boat seems to work well ... plus on things like Pirates it can help keep them from being scared too :thumbsup2

Yeah, with all the chatter about CM's not being as invested, etc. I was a little nervous we would see that but we really didn't and had some great experiences - got to give out a bunch of the "Thank You Cards" which was cool :goodvibes

Haha, yup, three also starts with a "T", so be afraid. Be very very afraid. Come to think of it, 10 and 12 and 13 ALSO start with "T". Yeah, you better sit down.

"Top 5 Places Emma was Breastfed" Well that's a category I'm pretty sure has not been documented before. :thumbsup2

I know it was only listed at #5, but that Peter/Snow pic is still way too precious.

Yup, people from Canadia are like that. :goodvibes

All of your gifs are so awesome!!

I neeeeed to get me a Lapu Lapu next trip. They look so fun!

You've sold me on Sanaa by the way. It's on my list for next time. I can't see my family getting too into it, but maybe I can bring some friends :thumbsup2

Happy birthday Peter! Now your parents have to pay for you to go to WDW :scared1:

Such awesome character meets and CM experiences. The way I see it, the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain don't change, so the people are what define a Disney trip. Glad to see you have so many great memories!

Of course you can't have an update without food porn!

Peter is getting so big! All the kids are. But three already? Man.

Hahaha, top five breastfeeding locations. Good to know.

I love all of the top fives though. And I really like how you focused on CM's doing a good job. Too many people are negative about it, and I think it's good to focus on the positive.

Happy birthday to Peter! :bday::cake:

Love all the top 5 lists! :thumbsup2 (Sorry, guess I'm too tired to be wordy tonight after writing an update of my own...)

Happy B-DAY!!! Must make it hard for the kido having a birthday so close to Christmas. I had to laugh at you video of Peter running in the rain!!! You know adults melt when it come to rain but for some reason children are drawn to it. My boys were a perfect example in Downtown Disney if you can recall our trip report.
I also got a chuckle out of the places Judi breastfeed. I remember the days making supper and cleaning the house while breasfeeding when the boys were infants. I got pretty darn good doing everything one handed;)

Happy Birthday!!! I'm sure three will be a breeze, right? I have a friend who swears by the theory that every other year is a tough one (so if two was trying three should be easier). She says they give us a year off to forget all the crazy behaviors and to start thinking we've got this parenting thing down and then they go back to showing us who's really in charge. :lmao: somedays I think she's right.....

I love all your lists! I liked that you included the CMs who did a great job. We haven't really ever had a bad interaction, it's nice to see the good ones get some recognition!

I am really enjoying your wrap up! The top five breastfeeding locations is extremely helpful;). We are planning a trip next October and will have a 6 month old, so I will keep those in mind!

Happy Birthday to Peter!

Happy birthday to Peter! Looks like a really fun party and birthday weekend he had!

Great recaps. I like that you did some recaps some people may not even think about - we also had overall excellent CM interactions and I've been staying away from the boards because they are SO negative!

I think I am more worried about 10, 12, and 13 for Olivia than Peter :lmao:

Well, we try to provide a value added service to our readers - glad to provide some new information for your Rob, in case the topic of breast feeding at Disney ever comes up in conversation, you are totally prepared :thumbsup2

Honestly, I probably could be talked into any of those meets being the top one - figured I would go with the big cheese himself - but the Snow one was great :goodvibes

Thank you Courtney - was fun to make them!

I think we need to start a group for people that want to go to Sanaa but whose group is not as interested so they can all go together

I know! Peter is no longer free at Disney ... at least we still have free-loading Emma :rotfl:

That's true - a lot of the attractions don't change - though how you experience them can, especially with little kids who are a bit older each trip. But the experiences you have and the people you interact with are really what make each trip unique :goodvibes

I know - Peter is getting so big! For his birthday we got him a big boy bed and he is so proud of himself

hey one never knows when having the knowledge of where to breastfeed in Disney will come in handy :thumbsup2

Definitely try to focus on the positive - and really, there are still more positives then negatives, just that Disney set such a high standard they have to work to keep to it ... but most of the CMs are still great!

Happy birthday to Peter! :bday::cake:

Love all the top 5 lists! :thumbsup2 (Sorry, guess I'm too tired to be wordy tonight after writing an update of my own...)

Thank you! No worries - that was quite the update you put in!

A belated happy birthday to Peter! Look at him with his big boy bed!

Good Top 5 lists. I do have to agree with Judi (I'm assuming she came up with the list) as the PeopleMover being the best place to nurse. I think every mom who has went with a baby and goes that route has that list.

That Mickey meet and greet was adorable to read, so I can see why it made the top 5 list. No matter how much you imagine and daydream about those great interactions, they are always better than you think.

Yeah, so far Peter seems ok with where is birthday is but I am sure it will be harder when he gets older. Makes it hard to plan parties as everyone is so busy

I do recall your buys and the rain at DTD - I think kids don't think about the "after" when they will be wet and cold and not on the "high" of dancing in the rain

Especially when they are super little you kinda have to figure out how to do it while doing other things - otherwise nothing would get done ;)

That seems like a good theory - hope you are right ... so far Peter is proving to be the exception to the rule :rotfl2:

Definitely! I am sure Disney likes to hear about good interactions too - hope that they do recognize those that go above and beyond as it really does add to peoples vacations

Happy Birthday to Peter!

Glad you found the top 5 list helpful! we found anything with a boat tended to be a good place to breastfeed. Good luck! :thumbsup2

It was a fun weekend! Tiring - I needed a weekend from my weekend :rotfl:

I know! So many people having less then magical experiences. Seems like a lot are at least indirectly related to the crowd levels. Glad that we had such positive experiences though :thumbsup2

Yeah, I can see the people mover being a popular location for bread feeding. Should make up a onsie that says "I was fed on the people mover" :rotfl2:

We really did have some great character meets - they definitely are something that separates a Disney trip from other vacations :goodvibes

Happy belated birthday to Peter! Do you find it hard having a child with a birthday so close to Christmas? My niece's birthday is on Christmas Eve and my sister gets so upset when people give her birthday gifts wrapped in Christmas paper.

These lists are a good idea. That pic of Peter and Snow White is frameworthy!

Happy Holidays, Phil!

Hi Annie - Happy Holidays to you too!

So far we haven't really had issues with Peter's birthday being so close to Christmas but I suspect it may become more of a problem as he gets older. Judi's brother's birthday is actually Christmas Day so she is fully aware of how this can be an issue so I think that will help. Probably just start doing things more a bit before his birthday rather than after - and if it ever gets really bad we will just celebrate his 1/2 birthday in the summer instead :goodvibes

Thank you! Really do love that picture of Snow and Peter - especially knowing how shy he was the last trip on 8mo earlier!

I loved the picture of the kids with Santa Claus. :goodvibes

It looks like a good time was had at the birthday party.

That's still my favorite gif...Peter running in the rain. :)

I agree with the others...that picture of Peter and Snow White should definitely be framed. It is priceless.

Awww....still in love with Mickey telling everyone to sssh because Emma was sleeping.

I have to find Alex the PP guy.

I really appreciate you sharing all your "top 5" lists. I'm glad despite having some stressful moments, it seems like the magical moments with characters and CMs made up for them. :thumbsup2

Thanks Kathy - we were glad to get a good picture of all three kids with Santa ... we weren't sure how Emma or Peter would be. We definitely had fun at the party

That .gif is pretty classic Peter :rotfl2:

Gotta love Mickey - always considerate :goodvibes

Definitely keep an eye out for Alex - I know in at least one other TR they found him on Main St. as well

There were moments (but just about any Disney trip will have some stressful moments) and there were definitely way more positives ones than negative - it really did go much smoother than I had anticipated/feared
