Alex started his new job on Monday, today I had a phone call from them saying he had injured himself and was being taken to hospital in an ambulance. He was using an electric saw and he cut through his index finger vertically, he has basically cut his finger into two (sorry if this puts you off your lunch!) and he then fainted! We have just got back from the hospital and its all bandaged up, they cant sew it back together as he cut loads of tissue of, hopefully as he is young it will heal itself which will take months but if it doesnt he will have to have an operation.

So basically another rubbish day!

Oh I am sorry and not surprised he fainted - I feel dizzy at the thought.

:grouphug: :wizard: to you both. Hope it heals well and quickly

Oh Jen, how awful, sending you :grouphug: hope he's better soon.

Jen ~ That is so terrible. Really hope that things start to improve for you both :grouphug:

Oh, Jen, how terrible and what an awful shock it must have been for you. Hope that Alex is not in too much pain, and hope that his finger heals quickly. :grouphug:

Thanks guys, not suprisingly he is feeling very sorry for himself at the moment!

Oooo dear, that sounds painful, hope he's soon on the mend and it's all better soon.

Pete cut off the top two joints of his left hand index finger whilst working machinery 9 years ago and it's amazing how he's just got used to only having half a finger and also how few people notice it's missing.

I'm really sorry you had such a bad day, Jen. I hope your DH isn't in too much pain and that it recovers quickly. Life is really unfair sometimes. :(

I am so sorry Jen, I hope your DH is ok. Sending you both lots of :grouphug:

Oh sorry to hear that :grouphug:

really sorry and hope things are better soon, best wishes :wizard: :grouphug:
