It's just amazing how much crying was going on at the Happiest Place on Earth.

As we walked around the parks for 5 days this past April 12-16, I was just amazed to see so many kids crying, having tantrums and even parents having complete meltdowns over their kids fussing. I know that many of the kids and parents were just tired, because I've been there many times before. I also believe that many of these problems could have been avoided, if the parents would just practice a little better psychology and have a better understanding with their kids about what they're going to do (when where and how), and not going to do, prier to going to the parks. It would save a tremendous amount of stress, anguish and time if they would.

You were also there at a very busy time, which makes it stressful for everyone with so many people. But there is no way to avoid crying. Kids are overstimulated, parents want to get the most bang for the buck, and most don't realize that the new environment will make kids act up as well.

I know our first trip with our youngest DD was hard. We did alot in a few days and she got sick by the end of the trip. The second trip we laxed a bit, but she still got sick on that trip as well.
This last trip was by far the best. We allowed her to sleep more, which made a huge improvement and didn't rush unless it was really neccessary.
And just to some it up, kids will be kids, no matter where you go and with alot of stimulation it is unrealistic to think they won't have a meltdown of some sort.
