It's hot and no sweet tea in sight, 14 days of dining

Great photos of Chefs! My husband and I are having dinner there next Tuesday! Your photos and review have now made us even more excited for it!!!

Day 6 June 24

By this time in the week we needed a break. We slept in and headed to DTD for lunch.

DS once again wanted Earl of Sandwich, Ham and Swiss but this time he had a brownie with peanut butter icing filling. He thought this was yummy.

DH and I went back to Wolfgang Puck Express.
Dh ordered the chicken tenders with fries and cheese cake, And I had the turkey club sandwich again.
DH said the chicken tenders were awesome and of course you all know that I love this sandwich. WGPE is a great value for counter service.

Dinner was at Teppan Edo in Epcot. We have eaten her before and really like the food. This restaurant is on the 2nd floor at the Japanese pavilion.
DH and I ordered the Asakusa - sirloin steak and large shrimp, and DS ordered Tori - chicken breast. All comes with grilled zucchini, onions and mushrooms with udon noodles and steamed rice. We also had green tea pudding for dessert. This is you typical Hibachi grill experience. All food is grilled right before you as the chef makes onion volcanoes and Disney jokes.

The food here is very good. We give this restaurant 4 sweet teas out of 5.

Sorry we don't have any dinner pics but it was raining that night and we didn't want to get he camera wet.

For dessert we all had chocolate peanut butter cupcake. This is a devil foods cake cupcake with a peanut butter icing center, peanut butter icing on top with chocolate shavings. YUMMY!

We were on the DDP and this is a good counter service value. Here is what you get for 1 counter service credit. Sandwich, chips, drink and cupcake.

Okay so I so know what I want to order at Starring Rolls-that whole meal looks really good. The cupcake looks amazing! And the sandwiches look great too. We haven't eaten there yet but I keep meaning too. Definitely need to now!;)

Oooh how good does that Cupcake at Starring Rolls look :cool1:

Gotta get one next time :cloud9:

Great reviews! Those cupcakes at Starring Rolls look SooooGood! And since everything at Disney is Lo-cal....:rolleyes1.... I cant wait to have one!

The cupcakes from Starring Rolls are wonderful. They also have a butterfinger cupcake that is devil's food cake with a peanut butter center and frosting with crushed butterfingers on top. It looked yummy.

Day 7 June 25

We arrived at MK at rope drop. For some reason the park wasn't too busy this morning and by lunch time we had ridden all of Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Splash Mountain, and Thunder Mountain Railroad. We had lunch at Cosmic Rays. Your typical burgers and fries. The fixin bar is a plus though. DH and I had the bacon double cheese burger with fries. DS had the 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken - with Mashed Potatoes and green beans. Dessert was carrot cake. We like Cosmic Ray's. Sorry we didn't take pics at lunch.

We give it a 3 out of 5 sweet teas.

Dinner tonight was at Le Cellier in Epcot. Our reservation was @ 8pm. We checked in at about 7:45. We were informed that they were running a little behind. That turned out to be a understatement. We weren't seated until 8:45. Our waitress was very inattentive and not too concerned about our needs. She was more concerned with the table next to us with a party of 8 and spending big $$ on wine (I think they ordered 3 bottles). I felt like we were more of a nuisance than anything.
Anyway, we all ordered a cup of the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup. This along with the french onion soup from France is undoubtedly the best on property.

We LOVE the pretzel bread they serve.

We all ordered the New York Strip Steak - topped with bercy butter and served with Gruyere Yukon Gold Potato Gratin. The steak was tender and very good. The steak was huge and neither off us could finish all of it. None of us cared for the potatoes though.

DH and DS had the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake - finished with Honey-Thyme Anglaise and a Chocolate-Vanilla Walnut Sauce. They loved it!

I had the Maple Creme Brulee. This is good but not the best Creme Brulee on property.

We give this visit to Le Cellier 3 sweet teas out of 5 mainly due to the service.

Those potatoes look strange! But the steak looks really good! It looks much bigger than the filet. I'll have to show DS11 this picture. He loves steak, but never eats the sides. The strip might be a better choice for him. :goodvibes
