It's Happening One Way Or The Other! - Oct 2016 PTR - Updated 10/11 - Single Digit Dance

We'll be there on overlapping days at ASMo! Have a GREAT trip!

Thanks! You too!!

According to your ticker you arrive the day after me. I'll be thinking of you and you travel plans.

Thanks! Fingers crossed for smooth flying.

We loved 50s Prime Time. Since we're big appetizer people, we got onion rings to start and split the fried chicken. It was awesome, I can highly recommend it. I also had the pineapple upside down cake which was superb.

Good to know. DH loved fried chicken so I think he'll be happy with his choice. I hadn't heard to much about the pineapple upside down cake but I'm glad you thought it was good. I think I will probably go with that since I foresee lots of other chocolate things throughout the rest of the trip.

I hope you're able to accomplish your plans. Do you have a time change to deal with. I can't remember if you're on East cost time or central.

We are in Central so there will be a time change but not a horrible one. Only an hour.

So basically, by the time you get back to ASMo, get settled in and in the bed, you're looking at having been up for about 24 hours. TOTALLY DOABLE. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Seriously, I think your first day plans look totally awesome!

Haha! We'll see. I'm going to remain optimistic and try not to push it if we have hit a wall. I definitely don't want to start our trip out on a grumpy tone!

Non-Disney Related Update:

So this weekend was really busy and consisted of NOTHING trip related.

Friday night, my cousin was in town with her new baby, Isaiah. So we went up to her sister's house for homemade pizza and baby snuggles. :)

Then Saturday, DH worked in the morning while I got everything together for his birthday get together with his friends from work. We were expecting 16 people and only 9 showed up. Oh well. We still had a blast and one of the guys made these cakes for DH.

IMG_0897.JPG

Hehehe. We played cards & ate & watched TV until about 2:30 in the morning.

On Sunday, DH & I dragged our tired selves out off bed at 9 am so we could make the Out of the Darkness walk. This walk raises money for suicide prevention & education. I believe this is the first year they've had it here in St. Louis so we walked in memory of my cousin who committed suicide in 2010. It was amazing...the number of people participating in the walk, the speakers they had beforehand, all the vendor & sponsor booths. Before the start of the walk, they had a gentleman play TAPS on his bugle & they then released a bunch of white doves before the Highland Bag Pipe Guard led us to the start of the walk. Let me tell you, the amount of feels yesterday was a little overwhelming.

IMG_0900.JPG IMG_0903.JPG IMG_0905.JPG

After finishing the 4 mile walk (which seriously kicked my bootay, ya'll), DH & I stopped at Cheeburger Cheeburger for lunch because it was DH's birthday! He got his typical bacon cheeseburger with a cherry cola while I got a grilled Portobello mushroom salad with a diet cherry cola. We also split a single order of the combo (fries & onion rings) and DH got his chocolate marshmallow shake as his birthday treat. When we got home, we both took a nap for about an hour and a half before heading to his parent's house for dinner.

His sister made his grandma's pasta sauce & meatballs and even made me whole wheat pasta so I didn't have to cheat as badly. We watched Once Upon A Time and then had chocolate cake for dessert. Thanks to the walk earlier in the day, I had plenty of calories left over to enjoy a small sliver.

IMG_0910.JPG

Around 9 pm, we headed home so we could get showers taken care of before bed.

This morning, I'm still feeling some stiffness in my muscles but not nearly as bad as I thought I was going to. I have an appointment with the personal trainer tonight & between the soreness and the swollen glands I've had since Saturday morning, I debated cancelling but I'm just going to suck it up & go anyway.

Day 2: EPCOT Day

So this day has kind of taken a detour since the last time I posted about it. See, a friend of mine that I haven't seen in close to 4 years just recently moved 90 minutes away from WDW and wants to meet up with us for Food & Wine. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I originally made all of our plans but she can only meet us in the morning and that's when I booked all of our FP+! So I had to do some re-arranging so everything would work out.

Arrive at EPCOT around 9 am

~ Because we are going to try to last all night at MK the night before, we've decided that we're not going to attempt Rope Drop this day. Instead, we'll sleep in a bit (whether we hit the hay early or not), forego breakfast, and arrive in time to meet my friend at 9 am.

Register for Agent P around 9:10 am

~ Yes we are adults and yes we want to play a kids game.

Food & Wine booths by 9:15 am

~ In total, I have 28 booths I would like to try and about 1.5 days to try them. I'm hoping to hit at least 3/4 of them throughout the day but I would be happy with half. I've sent my friend my bucket list so she could give me her opinions (she's already been there 3 times) and hopefully we'll be able to share some of the dishes.

Set up DISMeet around 11 am

~ If I haven't already heard from them, I will text @franandaj around this time to set up our DISMeet for the day.

Friend leaves around 12:30-1 pm

~ We will bid my friend a fond farewell and try to take in a couple of character meets before hitting up more booths. I'm shooting for Belle & Mulan at this time.

More F&W booths until 4:30 pm

~ More noms while we continue to play Agent P.

FP+ Living With The Land 4:55-5:55 pm

~ We've never done this ride but I've seen lots of positive reviews and I thought it would be a good one to let our bellies rest on.

FP+ The Seas with Nemo 5:55-6:55 pm

~ I love this ride and DH loves me so we're going on it again. I'm hoping we have enough time afterward to wander around the tanks a bit.

FP+ Soarin' 7:15-8:15 pm

~ Another first for us and I'm really excited about this one. Usually these types of rides make me really sick so I'll have to make sure I've taken my Dramamine that day.

Meet Anna & Elsa by 8:30 pm

~ EPCOT closes at 9 pm that night so I'm hoping we can haul bootay back to Norway before they close down their line. Those with more experience, help me out here. Will they close their line so that they can leave at 9 or is it like the rides where if you're in line by 9, you're still okay??

Walk/Boat to Boardwalk Resort (tentative)

~ This is completely dependent on how we are feeling.

Those there are the plans for the second day. I'm hoping to have one more day of plans for you before the end of the day today.

Day 3: Hollywood Studios Day

This day is another jam-packed day but that’s how we roll.

Up by 6:00 am, catch bus by 6:45 am

~ Another early morning but we have some important people to dine with! Thank goodness for Disney wake up calls.

Breakfast ADR at ‘Ohana at 7:30 am

~ We are heading to the Poly this morning for our ADR at ‘Ohana. I am so giddy over this breakfast! The food looks really good, lots of POG juice, and there’s Lilo & Stitch!! Pretty sure I am going to cry at least once.

Catch bus to HS by 9:30 am

~ It’s highly possible we will be done before this but we definitely cannot leave any later.

FP+ Star Tours 9:55-10:55 am

~ DH’s favorite ride & one of my least favorites. It makes me so sick!! Another day with Dramamine will be on order because I don’t want to feel yucky the whole day.

FP+ MuppetVision 10:55-11:55 am

~ We cannot go to HS without doing MuppetVision. It will be interesting to see all the construction going on as well.

Lunch ADR at Sci Fi Dine Inn at 12:20 pm

~ One of DH’s favorite restaurants so he asked if we could eat here again. I’m sure he’ll get the burger while I may be a total glutton and go for the steak. For dessert, I’ll probably go for the fruit plate while DH is talking about an Oreo shake (I’m assuming he can do that??)

FP+ Toy Story Mania 1:40-2:40 pm

~ Hoping to meet up with @Elevationist so she can whoop us at this ride. LOL. If not, DH and I will have some healthy competition between ourselves.

Meet Buzz, Woody, and Green Army Man by 3:00 pm

~ We’ve previously met Buzz but we missed Woody & the Green Army man last time. I’m hoping this will be a pretty quick meeting.

One Man’s Dream by 4 pm

~ We skipped this last time too because we didn’t think we would enjoy it. However, I’ve heard a rumor that there is a preview for Doctor Strange afterward & since DH is superhero fanatic, we’re going to hit it up this time.

Great Movie Ride by 5:30 pm

~ Since DH & I are big movie buffs, we really enjoy this ride & can’t wait to see the new version.

Check into Launch Bay at 6:45 pm

~ Check in begins for the Star Wars Dessert Party at 6:45 and we want to be there are early as possible to enjoy all the goodies. We will either meet @Elevationist inside or at the check in podium.

Star Wars Fireworks begin at 8 pm

~ Thanks to the Dessert Party, we will have preferred seating (standing) for the Firework Spectacular. I can’t wait to see the look on DH’s face as we watch these!

Resort Hop to either Boardwalk or Caribbean Beach by 9:15 pm

~ HS has EMH that night but we have another full day there later in the week so we’re going to resort hop over to either Boardwalk or Caribbean Beach for a little bit. We’ll either grab QS at the hopped resort or our home resort before heading to bed.

(As you all will note, I’m a horrible judge of WDW transportation so if you think my times won’t work, please let me know.)

I could be wrong here (and I hope that I am), but I'm pretty sure that I read the F&W booths don't start serving until 11am, when the rest of World Showcase opens up. Just a head's up!

FP+ Toy Story Mania 1:40-2:40 pm

~ Hoping to meet up with @Elevationist so she can whoop us at this ride. LOL. If not, DH and I will have some healthy competition between ourselves.
Awww, it looks like I'm going to have to regretfully miss out on this one! Ya'lls window doesn't open until 1:40p, and I need to use my FP as soon as mine opens at 1:00pm in order to have time to do the things I planned for after it. Bummer! I guess this means you get to avoid the humiliation of being totally whooped.

Check into Launch Bay at 6:45 pm

~ Check in begins for the Star Wars Dessert Party at 6:45 and we want to be there are early as possible to enjoy all the goodies. We will either meet @Elevationist inside or at the check in podium.
Now THIS I will absolutely be present at accounted for! My dinner ADR at Hollywood Brown derby is at 4:40pm, and I intend to head directly to the part check-in podium when I'm done there!

Food & Wine booths by 9:15 am

I hate to tell you this but I'm pretty sure they don't open until 11AM. I have a Test Track FP+ for 10:00AM. I also have an 11:05 Mission Space FP+, but I may have already been on it the day before so I could skip it in lieu of hitting the food booths earlier. There usually isn't a wait anyways.

If I haven't already heard from them, I will text @franandaj around this time to set up our DISMeet for the day.

I'm open to whatever, we are doing kiosks all day, possibly a nap mid day.

Catch bus to HS by 9:30 am

~ It’s highly possible we will be done before this but we definitely cannot leave any later.

I have an RnRC FP+ at 9:20, then I have to race back to BCV to wake Fran up and get us to Monsieur Paul in Epcot for our French Lunch at noon.

Resort Hop to either Boardwalk or Caribbean Beach by 9:15

The only problem I see with this is that you will have a heck of a time getting back to your resort. You'll probably have to take a bus from either resort to Disney Springs, and then catch a bus back to your resort from there. It can take about an hour and a half to two hours.

You might consider just going to Disney Springs for a bite to eat and save a step.

I could be wrong here (and I hope that I am), but I'm pretty sure that I read the F&W booths don't start serving until 11am, when the rest of World Showcase opens up. Just a head's up!

Hmmm, that may change my friend coming then. I'll have to talk to her about it.

Awww, it looks like I'm going to have to regretfully miss out on this one! Ya'lls window doesn't open until 1:40p, and I need to use my FP as soon as mine opens at 1:00pm in order to have time to do the things I planned for after it. Bummer! Oh gee darn. LMAO j/k

Now THIS I will absolutely be present at accounted for! My dinner ADR at Hollywood Brown derby is at 4:40pm, and I intend to head directly to the part check-in podium when I'm done there!

Awesome sauce! We will keep in touch via text.

Well crud. I'm going to have to talk to my friend & see if she still wants to come.

The only problem I see with this is that you will have a heck of a time getting back to your resort. You'll probably have to take a bus from either resort to Disney Springs, and then catch a bus back to your resort from there. It can take about an hour and a half to two hours.

Hmmmm...good food for thought.

Day 4: Animal Kingdom Day

And we’re off to DH’s least favorite park ever! Yay!

Up by 6:30 am, catch bus by 7:30 am

~ Not as early as the day before but when you like breakfast buffets, that’s what you have to do!

Breakfast ADR at Tusker House at 8:10 am

~ When I originally booked this, it as a pre-park opening ADR. However, AK now has EMH that morning, which begins at 8 am. I could have gotten an earlier ADR but I think DH would have divorced me. At any rate, this is a new restaurant for us & I’m looking forward to trying some new food more so than the characters. But they’re always a bonus. J

Register for Wilderness Explorers by 9:30 am

~ I figure this is one way to keep DH in the park all day. Plus it will make a cute souvenir.

Discovery Island animal paths until 10:30 am

~ I love animals but DH gets really bored with it quickly. I will give him the opportunity to ditch me & sit somewhere to relax.

FP+ Kilimanjaro Safari 11:05-12:05 pm

~ I’m hoping to get some really cool pictures and that danged lion pride better be out & active!!

FP+ Kali River Rapids 12:30-1:30 pm

~ We may grab a quick snack somewhere along the way before we meet @Elevationist for our FP+ time. DH has promised that he will ride this with no complaints. We’ll see.

Asian Animal Trails until 2:00 pm

~ Again I’ll give DH the option to ditch me if he wishes.

FP+ Expedition Everest 2:20-3:20 pm

~ Our mutual favorite ride. I hope the Yeti doesn’t catch us this time!

African Animal Trails until 5:00 pm

~ This includes Pagani & Rafiki’s Planet Watch. I know DH’s will be about maxed out by then so I will have to make my explorations quickly.

Meet Tarzan & Flik

~ I’m hoping the lines will be short for these two. If not, we may try for them at MNSSHP instead.

Meet Dug & Russell by 6 pm

Tough To Be A Bug by 6:30 pm

~ This is one of the areas for Wilderness Explorers so we may just skip it unless Disney extends hours at AK again.

Dinoland Exploration until 7:30 pm

~ There’s nothing here we want to ride, per se. There are a couple of pressed penny machines & a Wilderness Explorer area or two.

Oasis Explorations until 8:30 pm

~ More Wilderness Explorer locations

At this point, we will either leave AK to go to Disney Springs for a while or we will resort hop over to Animal Kingdom Lodge. And I can hear you all right now…”But Taters, what about Rivers of Light????” Well, to be honest with you, I’m kind of on the fence about it right now. IF by chance they get it up & running by then, I’m not really willing to give up one of my FP+ selections for it, since we are only doing 1 day at AK. When the time comes, I will leave it up to DH as to whether he wants to see it or not.

Day 5: Hollywood Studios Day

Another day at our favorite park. We have no DISmeets scheduled this day (shockingly)

Up by 7 am, bus line by 8 am

~ HS has early am EMH this day but we have FP+ for all the popular rides so we probably won’t be in a big hurry to get there early.

FP+ Rock N Roller Coaster 9:10-10:10 am

~ What a better way to start off the morning than going on a high speed limo ride to a rocking concert??

FP+ Tower of Terror 10:10-11:10 am

~ My favorite ride EVER!! I can’t wait for this. I’m actually hoping to get on it a couple of times this day. If the standby line isn’t too bad when we’re done with our FP+, we might just hope back in.

Grab lunch by 11:30 am

~ We’ll grab a quick bite at either Fairfax Fare or Starring Roles (any opinions??)

FP+ Frozen Sing Along 12:00 pm

~ I’m still debating this one. I’ve heard the seats aren’t so Pooh friendly but I love the music from Frozen. I’ll decide that day whether to cancel it or not.

Star Wars Launch Bay by 1:30 pm

~ We’ll peruse the displays, trade with the Jawas, & meet Kylo Ren and Chewie.

More rides until 3:45 pm

~ Since we’ll have ridden all the rides we like by using FP+ at that point, we’ll either see what we can get for our extra FP+ or see what standby lines look like for Star Tours, Toy Story, and Rock N’ Roller Coaster

ADR for Minnie’s Holiday Dine at 4 pm

~ I’m really looking forward to this one. I know it’s nothing extremely special but lobster mac n cheese and the gang in Halloween attire? I’m so there. We also booked this as Fantasmic dining package since we missed this show last time.

Rides or shows from 5:30-7 pm

~ We don’t have any real definite plans for this time. I’m sure there will be some shopping, maybe a ride or two, or maybe a show???

Check in for Fantasmic by 7 pm

~ As I’ve said before, we missed this on our previous trip so I made sure to book a dining package so that wouldn’t happen again.

Leave HS by 8 pm

~ Who knows what we’ll do after this? Crash/do laundry back at the resort, Disney Springs, check out another resort are all possibilities.

FP+ Kali River Rapids 12:30-1:30 pm

~ We may grab a quick snack somewhere along the way before we meet @Elevationist for our FP+ time. DH has promised that he will ride this with no complaints. We’ll see.
Tke your time snacking! My window doesn't open until 12:55pm! But as long as my lunch at Yak & Yeti beforehand doesn't run long, I should be right on time! Looking forward to it! :)

Meet Dug & Russell by 6 pm

~ Check in begins for the Star Wars Dessert Party at 6:45 and we want to be there are early as possible to enjoy all the goodies. We will either meet @Elevationist inside or at the check in podium.

This one confuses me...

For someone who does t like AK, you are certainly putting him through the paces! Even if we love a park, we are lucky to make it until 2PM before crashing and burning.

You guys do have a lot of Character Buffets in the mix! Plans sound great!

On Sunday, DH & I dragged our tired selves out off bed at 9 am so we could make the Out of the Darkness walk. This walk raises money for suicide prevention & education. Let me tell you, the amount of feels yesterday was a little overwhelming.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a family friend commit suicide just two months after DJ'ing our wedding :sad2:

~ In total, I have 28 booths I would like to try and about 1.5 days to try them.

Not a problem. I'm sure we'll keep ourselves busy! :)

This one confuses me...

Ooops.that was a typo. I fixed it.

For someone who does t like AK, you are certainly putting him through the paces! Even if we love a park, we are lucky to make it until 2PM before crashing and burning.

Yeah, our touring strategy isn't for everyone. DH will tolerate AK because he knows I like it. However, I'm not going to make him do anything he doesn't want to so he knows he's more than welcome to bow out at any time. I've even told him he could go back to the resort while I finished out AK. That's one of the things that makes our relationship work. :)

You guys do have a lot of Character Buffets in the mix! Plans sound great!

Thanks! I was kind of leery about having so many character buffets but buffets are just easier for our differing tastes.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a family friend commit suicide just two months after DJ'ing our wedding :sad2:

I'm sorry for your loss too  My cousin passed away right before Christmas and had been battling bi-polar for years. :(

6e02200b6800d06118cf945692b30f78-jpg.199173

LOL I love this meme!! I hope we can do it! Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Before I add some more updates, I just want to say that my thoughts are with all of my fellow DISers who either live in Hurricane Matthew's path, are visiting WDW now, or will be visiting in the next few days. I'm sending you all tons of pixie dust! :tinker:

Day 6: Magic Kingdom Day

We are finally at our first and only full day at MK. This has the potential to be really busy depending on how long we were in the park on our arrival day.

Up by 6:30 am, catch bus by 7:30 am

~ Another breakfast ADR this morning so another fairly early morning. Since I was able to snag a pre-park opening ADR, I’m hoping to get some good pics of us in front of the castle.

Breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace at 8:05 am

~ I love Pooh & Friends and I’ve heard so much about the puffed French toast that I had to book Crystal Palace this trip.

FP+ Jungle Cruise 10-11 am

~ Another ride we missed out on last time.

Sign up for Pirate’s Adventure

~ Last trip we did Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom and while it was fun, we couldn’t get half the locations to work so we gave up. Hopefully we’ll have a better experience with this one.

FP+ Mine Train 11:35-12:35

~ I’ve heard a lot of convicting reports on this one in terms of Pooh friendliness. I’ll either have to take the Walk of Shame or just be uncomfortable for a while. I am much more okay with the second option as opposed to the first one.

FP+ Buzz Lightyear 12:40-1:40 pm

~ Another ride we missed last trip because the wait times were so bad.

Grab lunch by 1:45 pm

~ We’ll grab lunch at Cosmic Ray’s as soon as we’re done with Buzz. I know DH wants to try the BBQ Pork Bacon Cheeseburger.

Festival of Fantasy parade at 3

~ I’m really looking forward to seeing this parade. I’m a bit of a parade junkie.

Talking Mickey & Tinker Bell by 3:30 pm

~ This is totally dependent on wait times. If they are horrible, we might see if we can get FP for later on in the day.

Frontierland Hoedown Happening by 4:45 pm

~ We may skip this but I think dancing with the Country Bears sounds like fun.

Hall of Presidents by 5:30 pm

~ This is one of DH’s favorites and we missed it last time because we didn’t know it wasn’t open during MNSSHP.

Dinner by 6:00 pm

~ I would like to try the Lobster Roll at Columbia Harbour House. DH will either have the chicken nuggets or find something somewhere else.

Haunted Mansion by 7:30 pm

~ Yes, we will be attending MNSSHP but we’ve done it on a party night and the wait is usually soooo long. Plus we will be wearing our Haunted Mansion shirts that day.

Fantasyland until 9 pm

~ Not sure exactly what we’ll do. Maybe Dumbo or Philharmagic or Pooh Bear.

Camp out for Wishes by 9:15 pm

~ We’ll find our spot for Wishes and camp out until start time. Might possibly grab a snack somewhere on Main Street.

Wishes at 10 pm

~ Enough said on that one. J

PeopleMover by 10:45 pm

~ I’ve heard a lot of people talk about the PeopleMover and how awesome it is to ride at night so we’ll give it a shot before the park closes at 11 pm.

Day 7: EPCOT & MNSSHP

Best. Day. Ever! We are so excited for MNSSHP!!

Up by 7:00 am, catch bus by 8:00 am

~ No need to be up super early this morning because we have FP+ for the whole morning.

Meet Joy, Sadness, and Baymax at 9 am

~ Hoping to make rope drop & meet these guys with little to no wait.

FP+ Spaceship Earth 9:25-10:25 am

FP+ Test Track 10:25-11:25 am

~ Because wait times were so long, we missed out on this one too on our last trip. I was not going to let that happen this time.

FP+ Imagination with Figment 11:25-12:25 pm

~ We didn’t do this one last trip either because I thought it was a kiddie ride. However, I know have that song stuck in my head every time I hear it so why not give it a shot?

Food Booths & Agent P until 3:00 pm

~ We actually may only do this until 2:30 but we’ll see.

Monorail to MK; arrive by 3:45 pm

~ We’ll go ahead and either the park before the 4 pm early open for MNSSHP.

ADR at Liberty Tree at 4 pm

~ This has become our MNSSHP tradition. We both enjoy the food here, although we always skip dessert because neither of us like it. I really wish you could sub out for Gooey Toffee.

Change into costumes by 5:30 pm

~ If we don’t do it before we hit MK (our costumes are really costume-y), we’ll change into them after dinner & then head to Tortuga Tavern to get our party bracelets.

Buy party merchandise at Big Top Souvenirs by 6 pm

~ I know DH wants a pin. I don’t know if I’ll get anything yet, as I’ve heard reports of some stuff selling out already. If I do get anything, it will probably be a pin or ornament.

MNSSHP officially starts at 7 pm

~ This is where our plans get thrown to the wind. We definitely want to do some trick-or-treating and I want to get some of the party treats (can anyone say pumpkin cupcake??). We’ll more than likely skip the rides and concentrate on meet & greets and the shows. On our list for sure is Jack Sparrow, Lotsso, and the gang from Aladdin.

Camp out for Boo To You by 10:30 pm

~ Ideally, we’d like to be close to the castle so we can watch Hocus Pocus afterward but with Hallowished being at 10:15 pm, we maybe SOL. If need be, we’ll watch the parade in Frontierland and haul tail to the Castle afterward.

Boo To You at 11:15 pm

~ I can’t wait to see the new additions!

Hocus Pocus at midnight

~ This movie is a Halloween staple at my house so I’m hoping to get a fairly decent spot to watch it.

Day 8: Departure Day

Whomp whomp. It’s the day everyone dreads. We did not get a park ticket for this day because we figure we wouldn’t have a lot of time and we’ll have a long evening of flying.

Up by 7:00 am, catch bus by 8:30 am

~ We’ll have everything packed up & drop our luggage off before we check out.

Breakfast ADR at Whispering Canyon at 9:00 am

~ One last power breakfast before we head home. This was originally booked for 7:30 am but we didn’t want to have to cut our time at MNSSHP short the night before.

Bus to Disney Springs by 10:30 am

~ Last minute shopping and lunch somewhere.

Bus back to ASMo by 2:30

~ If last trip was any indication, the Tragical Express will pick us up at the resort around 3:30.

Flight leaves MCO at 7:25 pm, arrives in STL at 11:19 pm

~ We have another hour & a half layover on our return trip so we’ll be getting home later than I would like. But I most certainly didn’t want to leave the Disney bubble early.

The next morning, we will be back to our boring hum-drum lives and begin planning for our 2018 trip.

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday but I can officially do the single digit dance!

DH and I started packing over the weekend. I'll probably finish up the clothes tonight. I also need to fix my jacket, pick up a few things we've forgotten, borrow a suitcase from my in-laws, etc. Our snack box is almost ready to be mailed out & I am planning on doing that before the end of the week.

Work here has been crazy. A little over a week after I get back, we are participating in a trade show in Chicago so I am trying to get all that stuff taken care of before I leave. It doesn't help matters that I get back in the office on the 26th & my boss leaves on the 30th for the whole week. Grrrr.

I'm still fighting a swollen gland in my neck. My doctor can't figure out what is going on & has just prescribed warm compresses and ibuprofen. I'm hoping it's gone before next Wednesday. I'm sure it's allergy related thanks to this wacky weather.

Hope you all are doing great and are safe wherever you are. I will try to get at least 1 more update in before we leave.

I just found your PTR and it's almost time for your trip!! Your plans look awesome and I'm very jealous of your DISmeets!!

Day 7: EPCOT & MNSSHP

Hey! We're in Epcot that day too!

Bus back to ASMo by 2:30

~ If last trip was any indication, the Tragical Express will pick us up at the resort around 3:30.

Actually, if your flight leaves at 7:25, they will probably going to pick you up closer to 4:15-4:30. They give US flights 3 hours and foreign flights 4 hours.

The next morning, we will be back to our boring hum-drum lives

This is the worst part of it!

One week from today I'll be on the DME approaching WDW!!!!!
