Yes he did....DD's bday theme went from Luau to Pumpkin themed.

Love the new update! Did your friends hubby get pissed at her? They're hilarious over at WCC but I agree...the food left a lot to be desired. I had the spicy chicken and pasta when I went and the cinnamon tortilla like you had and I think Nachos for my app but they were gross. You need a box of those cookies to bring home for Jack!

Yay for a pumpkin themed bday party!! I swore the next baby i had was going to be an october baby.. and what do you know, I get prego on birth control and all my plans are screwed.. so hes an april baby.. suppose I culd always do a half way to halloween party??lol

and yes the food.. the skillet was ok..but it is not on my list for next time

Thanks It was a lot of fun! Evene with knowing what may happen, everything was still a blast. It helped that our waitress was totally in part!

So cool to hear all about WCC, I have never been there! We stayed at WL for a few days on our last trip but I never thought about going to WCC - I think I might be too shy for that restaurant I get nervous at Primetime Cafe too!
I have to agree with the kids on the mac n cheese - used to be my faaavorite but I thought it tasted kind of weird on my last trip! Maybe they changed the recipie recently

Since we ordered dessert and her hubs was mortified they never even sliced the cake, it instantly went into the box.. it was a small cake you get at the podium, didn't look like anything special..sorry.. ( i was hoping I could get away with that post and have you not notice the missing cake lol)

WHAT! you stayed there and didn't even try breakfast there?? Yeah I was nervous about going here too, but for some reason I get more ballsy and and relaxed when I'm in disney. Like I can do anything lol

As for the mac.. I didn't think it was terrible at all. Jack loved it too!

I gotta say, you peeps here on the dis have been there for me more then my friends lately! Carrie(Lurkyloo) was there for the whole fiasco with John this past June and I couldn't have made it without her (did I mention she sent me an amazing gift too) and now Sophia has become a lifelong friend! I have never believed in the kindness of "strangers" (not that yall are, but you kwim), but now I do. Thank you all so so so much! I really mean it. I almost don't even want to write this after the past two mishaps.....But I love you all and you have been so nice, so I will continue on!

Ok so this day was going to be awesome! This was our first time going to Chef Mickey's, first time going to BBB, first time dining at Ohana's and most IMPORTANTLY our very first MNNSHP!!!!! Today was also one of the only times that Kayla and I would get some one on one time, something I am going to make a point to do more of next September! Same for Jack as he will be older and hopefully more well behaved/potty trained/talking like he's never not talked lol.. ok ok I'm getting off topic!

Needless to say I was stoked for today.. beyond stoked actually. I was up much earlier than everyone else so I took this time to take a nice solo long hot shower and mini plan my day (ha! like that even works in Disney) After my awesome shower I woke the rest of the fam up. At this point it was still only about 7:30, but a girl can only hold her excitment in so long, ya know? By 8:10 we were out the door and in the mini-van (which still has no name). I was eager to get to the Contemporary as I was wondering if they really gave out 3 hour parking passes or not. Well, we get there and folks they DO only give out 3 hour parking passes. Some of you may not care about this, but I remember there being a lot of talk about this topic when researching my trip. We pull in and score a sweet parking spot! We walk into the ginormous Contemporary and instantly I don't get what the hype is about. I'm also confused and don't know which elevator goes where. I find a lovely Manager dude and ask him how the heck we get to Chef Mickey's. He says go this way then that then this way then that. I also noticed he was from Pennsylvania, Holla atcha boy! We take the elevator up to the 4th floor, we get up there and notice two lovely gift shops and the monorail inside the dang building! That was pretty cool! I look around expecting to see this huge restaurant and I see nada.. although I smell heaven!Finally I see a little tiny podium and a white wall with junky looking pics of mickey on them... I'm not impressed and kinda worried now about this ADR.

I go up to the podium and give our name even though it is only 8:40 and our ADR"S aren't until 9:25. I get handed a buzzer and ticket to go get our picture taken. We walk over there, but pause to look at the pretty view of the Magic Kingdom . Finally I see the inside of the restaurant and I am instantly happy/excited/and impressed lol. We go to the not so friendly obviously over her boring picture taking job lady and get our pic. Just as that was done the buzzer went off, SCORE! I mean I called thios place for months trying to change my ADR time with no luck, and here I am strolling up 45 mons early and getting seated. Not to mention that there was not one other family waiting!! All that calling and they are just letting people walk up and eat whenever they want..hmmmph! So we get to our table (which is right by the buffett, score again lol) and I see this:

Yay, a cupcake for john's bday!! Our waitress then comes over and says she has another present for him!! It was a placemat signded by all the characters! She also informed me that we should get food while we could as the characters come around pretty quickly and once they are gone don't expect to see them for another hour. I hop up and run to the buffett with Kayla and plan to get her,my and Jack's food so we are prepared for all the characters! well we get up there and what a buffett! Everything looked awesome, I didn't know where to start! Neither did Kayla!! She was in love lol When I got back John's placemat was there and super cute!! Did I get a pic of it..nope! Although it is sitting on my table right now.. I'll have to get a pic of it at some point Anywho, all of a sudden we here someone announce "everybody, it's John's bday, here comes Mickey" and out comes mickey and the gang doing that Chef Mickey's napking twirling thing lol

Jack didn't really know what the hell to do

After this the characters came around to take pics and sign autographs. Jack loved Mickey, but did not want any part of the rest of the characters.. this was his first real close up with the characters so I'll cut him some slack!
Now for some pics of the kiddies and characters..but out of order as photobucket hated me and uploaded my pics crazy despite me trying 3x to do it right!

After that was all done I was like hey I can eat for real now!! and Kayla just needed to get to the goodies..aka crap food station!! I also took this opprotunity to take some food porn pics.. I apologize again, keep in mind this is my first Tr and first time ever taking pics of food with the exception of birthday cakes!

Ok, I'm going to stop here computer is acting funny!! Don't want a repeat of the last 2 attempts!

Up next, my thoughts on Chef Mickey's, review of the food and what not. A ride over to the Mk for bb, mommy daughter time,Ohana, and Mnsshp!
