It's going to be a long winter... time to head to the world! A January 2013 PTR

I was searching for some PTR's for January to help me out with my day to day planning and found yours.

We're there when you are (well, we're Friday -Wednesday) and my DD6 tested positive for Flu A on Friday.

Luckily (thank you Target Minute Clinic) we were all given Tamiflu (for prevention since we are traveling, they wouldn't have done it otherwise). So hopefully, no one else gets it. She's doing well, no more fever and my stress level has dropped, whew. So sorry you got it, but hope the meds work as well for you as they did my DD.

The kids don't know about our trip, we're going to dinner the night we leave and I'm going to have the hostess deliver "Mickey mail" to the kids at our table with a letter telling them we are headed to WDW. I can not wait.

Welcome! Glad you stumbled upon me and hopefully my plans aren't too sporadic. We go longer without kids!

Tamiflu is what they gave me as well. Today is the first of five days so I'm hopeful. They didn't test me for influenza directly, but my symptoms fit and with travel they just wanted to boot whatever it is out. Brutal stuff.

I love that you're surprising the kids! That's so awesome! I hope to do that when I'm a parent someday

Day Five - Water Park fun and more!

Our 5th day (1/23) we will be venturing to Typhoon Lagoon depending on weather. I'm actually excited for this as I haven't been to a Disney water park in years and DH never has. We aren't really big swimming people, but I'm always game for a wave pool (in the shallows of course!!) and some lazy river action.
Mostly this day is just meant for relaxing. We're going to sleep in a little and get up around 9am before getting breakfast and heading to the park. I anticipate we will only spend a few hours there, probably leaving around noon or 1pm, but the option is open for whatever we'd like. Afterwards we'll shower and change before heading to Magic Kingdom to kill some time. Our ADR is a little later this evening:

6:55pm - ADR 'Ohana

I wanted to make this a little later in the evening so we could catch the MSEP and Wishes at Magic Kingdom. But I guess this is our most open day of the trip. No real "must-dos" outside of the evening shows.

Day Six - Magic Kingdom

We are headed to a full day of Magic Kingdom which makes me so happy as this is one of my favorites. I'm super excited to delve right into the new Fantasyland and I cannot WAIT to see the new Beauty and Beast themed areas. We also have a fantastic ADR:

5:45pm - Be Our Guest!

Between the two parades and Wishes, it's likely that we will not nap or take a midday break on this day. The must do list is through the roof and it's easier to name what we don't want to do! As it is, this will be our busiest but in my opinion best days of the trip.

Day Seven - DHS again

DH's favorite park is DHS so we will be returning here on our last Disney day before wandering over to the boardwalk for our ADR:

7:05pm - Kouzzina

Our last full Disney day usually consists of repeating favorite attractions and just trying to let the memories last. We don't like to make an early night of it, but we need to this time for....

Day Eight - Departure

Our flight is at 11:00am, so this is will be a super early morning. But, it'll all be worth it when we get to see our fur babies once again!

We're back! DH is actually sick with a cold, but fortunately it didn't develop until Saturday morning when we woke for the flight home. though honestly the unpacking and getting back to reality has been compromised. I'll link to my TR as soon as I start it, which will hopefully be tonight.
