It's Epcot a good PH option?

With the EPCOT hours for June closing at 10 PM What would you do? At this moment my only options are making a park reservation for Epcot or make a reservation for Animal Kingdom and then Park Hop to EPCOT from 2 to 10 PM.

Epcot opens very late so Park Hopping from there to other parks wastes many hours, so I'm thinking that it's best to go to other park (in this case AK) early and then PH as soon as possible to Epcot.
What do you think?

If you can only get AK or Epcot, it’d make sense to start in AK then hop elsewhere when hopping begins. Do you have several days where you’ll have to do this or just the one day?

I have 6 days and reservations for HS (two days because ROTR), MK (two days), AK (two days), the problem right now are the limited park reservations. So instead of making an Epcot reservation and losing half day I was thinking of going to Epcot at 2PM after any of the others parks, either HS or AK.

Ah nice. Wasn't sure if you were one of many that came up short for any reservations. Definitely makes more sense to start the day in AK and hop out at 130 or so to get to another park at 2.

Park hopping to Epcot is a great plan in my opinion. Start somewhere that opens much earlier, then hop when you are ready (after 2 of course). Allows you to maximize your time in the parks. That was our plan for our two trips after park hopping returned. We hopped from HS to Epcot one day and MK to Epcot another.

We have a 6 day trip booked too and didn’t reserve Epcot either. Just hopping over there 3 days.

Our plan so far (since we’re staying at Boardwalk) is to split 3 days between HS/EP and the other 3 AK/MK. That might change tho if night shows return by Sept 😁

I have an August trip planned also at Boardwalk but 7 days park time (1 rest/Springs day) and it is starting to look similar. I already told my wife that I will be in Epcot hopping almost every night however I am also using 1 Park Pass day to (try to) avoid World Showcase and getting some Future World rides in with kids and have a meal at Garden Grill....can't guarantee the walk back to the Boardwalk I won't be distracted by Canada and UK though. ;)

I was there in April for 5 days and hopped to Epcot every single day for at least a few hours. The only day I made a reservation for it was arrival day since I knew I wasn't getting there until after 2 and wanted to eat at the booths. Worked well for me, I was able to ride all the rides there, some every single night, eat at most of the booths, shop, and just walk around and enjoy the park.

Sounds like a good plan so the kids will have an easier time doing the rides. We only have 3 that we must do, should work out ok without ropedropping. Of course you have to pop in to Canada/UK if you pass by on the way home... it’s a matter of diplomacy! And nothing works better than drinking in the culture 😆
