Awww, congratulations to you and Miguel! Sofia is a beautiful, feminine name. Can't wait to see those nursery pics!
Augh, sorry about the long hours at work. Hope it lets up soon.
It's a girl! It's a girl! Woohoo!!! I'm so excited for you guys! I LOVE the name Sofia! It's so pretty. I gues I should have checked here before I replied to your post in my TR.
I'm glad you're not feeling as tired. I also got the numb hands, but not nearly as bad as you. In fact, I still get it sometimes, which is annoying. I can only imagine how much more annoying it must be for you.
How long will you be off on maternity leave?
I can't wait to see pictures of your nursery. Seeing how well you decorate for Christmas, I'm sure the nursery will look phenomenal.
Congrats on a little girl! They are so much fun and the shopping is waaaaaaaay easier. For whatever reason every single store sells three times more little girl stuff vs little boy stuff. It's crazy. Can't wait to see pictures.
I haven't been on the dis lately, just busy with life, but last night something was telling me to come see if you had posted an update, and I am glad that I looked! Congrats on your GIRL!!! Love the u/s pictures, isn't it just the most amazing thing to see this tiny person inside of you? It's so surreal.
Hi Courtney!! I just wanted to check-in and say that I hope you are doing well. I hope the last portion of your pregnancy is flying by and you are having a blast preparing for your sweet little girl
I hope everything went well with the delivery! I can certainly understand not feeling up to logging in to the Dis and replying to everything, but hopefully you can find the time to lurk and read all those beautiful messages we have for you guys. :
Hi everyone! First of all, let me say I am SO sorry for disappearing on you like that! When I came to log in I couldn't believe it said my last log in was September 24th! Thank you all so much for checking in and for all of the sweet comments! I have been thinking about you all lately and then I just recently got a sweet email from DisneyCrafter and I just had to come back and do a quick check-in while I have a moment!
I am happy to announce that Miguel and I welcomed our little princess, Sofia Elizabeth, on December 1st! She was delivered via c-section after a very long, 3 day - failed - induction. I was induced 2 weeks early after being put on bedrest in early November for high blood pressure. Things got a little hairy there at the end but it was of course all worth it. We love her so much!
Our "babymoon" in October was also wonderful! Disney while pregnant is...different, and I can't say I'd want to do it again. But, I am glad that we got to do Disney one more time just the two of us.
I PROMISE to be back soon and to post some pictures of Sofia and to start getting caught up on all of your threads. I'm sure many of you have started new ones since I've been gone. Please let me know if you have and I'll be sure to check them out.
