We're HOME!!
The VWL is breathtaking! I stood in awe while DW checked us in. We got here real early so we went to MK for a slowpaced(!st time we ever did that, but then again I will be back for 40 more yrs so why not stop and smell the roses or turkey legs or that sweet smell, what is that smell). Anyway we left MK and went to GF to see tree and Ginger
bread house. Very cool!

We came back to our room and rested before dinner at WCC. What a romp! Kids did the pony express and we made mistake of asking for ketchup. At least 10 bottles we got of the red stuff. We enjoyed the meal and the entertainment also. We are resting again waiting for EWP at 9:30.
Studio is very nice and clean. Rm 1537 ground level. Only problem, bath door wont lock, maint. came but didnt do anything for it. If I had phillips screwdriver I would fix myself.

I am Building contractor/carpenter and I have to say am impressed with workmanship and quality of materials used. Believe me Ive been over with fine tooth comb.

Sorry for rattling but if any body has questions while Im here Ill try to answer.

Glad to read you are enjoying your stay "at home!" Nice to know a professional thinks positively about the workmanship & quality.

Enjoy your time at VWL!!!

jimmytammy....I know you've been waiting....

....and waiting...

...and waiting....to go home. So glad you are enjoying VWL!!

And yep....that lobby is a jaw dropper!! ;)

DW told me I had a goofy grin as soon as I walked into that lobby to check into VWL for the first time. I was thinking...."Wow, we still get to enjoy WL and now it's even better!!"

We'll look forward to your impressions when you return!

My DH is a plumber. Now most people hate the toilets at the AS resorts. My DH loves them - everytime we stayed there all I hear is - These are state of the art - vacum toilets - using less water per whatever - for a place this size... He goes on and on. LOL But I guess the technology saves Disney a lot of money on water.

WELCOME HOME!:D :D :D

So how many points are you thinking of adding on?;)

On our unexpected trip to WDW last week (when DCL cancelled our cruise) we spent Tues at the WL visiting DSs friends parents. They showed me the villas, their studio and their friends 1bedroom. We got to swim in the pool, buy my baseball hat "The villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge" on the front "members are magical" on the back.
We bought into DVC last Nov w/WL as our "home". I would have loved to have had the chance to stay home this year instead of at Port Orleans/French Quarter. But when you need to find a place to stay w/less than 22hrs I guess you gotta take what you can get. After staying 9nights at WL last Oct, PO was quite a disappointment.
Hopefully next year the cruise, and 2004 the WL! So I can say it will take us 3years to get home!

It seems waiting for the vacation passes SOO SSLLOOWWLLY - and finally you are there and time passes so quickly and you find yourself again looking at the countdown clock waiting for your next WDW vacation as I am doing right now:(

So by the way
WELCOME HOME & ENJOY YOUR TRIP!:D
