So it's been about 6 years since we've been to Disney and we are planning a trip to Disney and Universal, I cant take the heat anymore so we're planning on the first week of December, hopefully the crowds won't be too bad and we're really hoping the new Star Wars Galaxies Edge will be open by then. My question is we're only going to do 2 days at the Disney parks, we're getting park hoppers because I would like to see Cinderellas castle all lit up at night because we've never been during the Christmas season. We don't plan on doing the Magic Kingdom during the day, we are doing Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. I was thinking of doing another night show but don't know which one so I'm looking for which show you like the best since our time is limited. Thanks

Happily Ever After at the MK is amazing. You do need to be on MainStreet to see it best due to the castle projections.
Since you talked about seeint the castle lit up at night, I assume one of the evening shows is HEA at MK.

I am still a fan of Illuminations in EPCOT -
AK - Rivers of Light is IMHO, the weakest of the night time shows.
HS Really like Fantasmic. The Star Wars projection and fireworks is also very good.

Personally, I would see either Fantasmic or Illuminations. Which ever one you didn't see the last time you were there.

Illuminations will be gone by then, so I would recommend watching the new show that replaces it. I assume HEA is the other night show you are planning to see, but if not, I would definitely add it to the list.

Make sure to schedule around the xmas party days at MK. 4 days a week the park will close early for the party

I'm a big fan of the Star Wars fireworks personally.

You're right, Illuminations will be gone by then. The new show is any ones guess as to how good it will be.
As that will only be a temporary show,I would probably do either Star Wars or Fantasmic.

So where do I find out about the Magic Kingdom Christmas party days? Thanks

I don't think 2019 dates have been released, but I would guess it'll be like 2018's schedule. Every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday starting the week after Thanksgiving.

Happily Ever After. My second would be the new show at Epcot.

And btw....the crowds will be bad, ESPECIALLY if Galaxy's Edge is open. Plan for it and have a great time anyway.
