It's been a while

Well, like the title says, it's been over 3 months since I have posted on the boards. It's strange, from being a regular poster and getting to know so many of you and then feeling that I could no longer post as things wer just so painful.

My DH started posting on the boards and in time I took over and I became a huge Disney fan just like him. We had a fantastic trip in Sep/Oct last year but just over a month after our return I found my DH hanging from our attic. My whole world has fallen apart as he was not only my husband, father of our two children but also my best friend. All my plans were with him and now I have to try and make new ones, which to be honest, I realy don't want to do but I know that I have to be strong for my children.

Our greatest memories all revolve around Disney....will I ever be able to return without him??? I don't know, I hope we can but it's still early days for us.

I suppose this post is part of my healing process, telling people what has happened and moving on, it's hard but I am still alive.

I couldn't read and run - so I just want to say how brave of you to post this.

I do hope in time that you will be able to visit "the World" again with your children and that you will be able to remember the happy times you all spent there together without it being too painful.

Sam I can't begin to imagine what you are going through. I don't know you in person but being able to come on here and be so brave tells me just what a strong woman you are.

Stay strong and hopefully in time you will be able to return to WDW and relive the memories but also continue making new Magical memories with your children. Lots of hugs to you & your children. xx

Oh I am so sorry to hear this but you are so brave in putting it down in words. I hope that you are your children do find your way back to Disney so you can bring back to life all the happy memories of your time spent as a family there.
