Sorry if I missed this somewhere.

So I know there are magic bands, and the fast pass +. Do they still have the little fast pass tickets you can walk up and get? We're not staying on property and only doing 2 parks, not even park hoppers, so I haven't purchased Magic Bands or even our tickets yet, I was just going to wait until we got there. Going first week of February. We aren't dying to ride anything, just plan to see how the lines are.

Should I get magic bands?

2. Just to be clear, guests do not NEED to have MagicBands.
And, off-site resort guests have little reason to buy them.
Just use the plastic ticket-cards at the park.

So you can do the fast pass + with your plastic ticket? I'm sorry, I haven't read anything on the Magic Bands. Our last trip was a Make a Wish, so I didn't have worry about the lines.

If you order your tickets ahead of time, you can make FP+ reservations before your trip.

Create a MyDisneyExperience account, order your tickets using that account
(you can do that right now, today, if you like) and
then you can book your FP+ choices as early as 30 days before your days in the parks.

Ok, thank you! I'm off to check out the thread about them. I had no idea, I thought I had to buy the bands and for just two days, for 5 people, I didn't want to cough up that money, LOL!.

If you can't get all of the FP+ reservations that you want as soon as you start booking...
you can continue to try (as much as you like) to change the FP + reservations to what you DO want. (People make changes constantly, and you can grab the FPs that become available, if you are lucky with your timing.)

Be sure to carefully read all the FP+ info in the sticky posts at the top of this forum.
