4 Days!
It is packing weekend! We tie dyed the shirts last night, we'll have to rinse them out tonight. I am going to start pulling clothes tonight or tomorrow and packing. I hope to be mostly finished by Sunday evening. I need 1 more Target trip, I need to get socks, mainly because I hate sorting sock so every time we go on vacation I buy the kids new socks it is just easier, ponchos, snacks for the plane, headphones for the minions' iPads on the plane, sharpies, and various and assorted bandaids, moleskin and other first aid type products.
Attriel went to the
Disney store today while minion 1 was at theatre and got me the $25 gift card I needed and a $100 gift card (that one is mine). He also got 2 Tsum Tsums for minion 1 and 3 so I have 2 each to give them once we are there.

It also has a bunch of extra autograph paper in it, just in case the minions need it. Minion 1 read through it today, I did hide our ADR with my thumb so he can't see where we are going for lunch on our first Magic Kingdom day. It is about the only secret of the trip still and they know we are doing lunch, they just don't know where. They were not impressed with the idea of Quick Service meals either, but they'll deal because we are not doing 2 sit down restaurant meals every day, let alone 3.
Oh so about 2 nights ago, my neice's Mom emailed me. Yes my niece would really like to go on roller coasters, she is sure that my BIL(1) will be happy to take her on them (FYI this is the 10 year old niece). I didn't even bother replying. First off, she forgets that BIL (1) (her son) has 2 young kids, it is quite possible he and my sister will be doing one parent, one child things with their kids and so no he won't be able to take her on a roller coaster. Second the plans are set. If she wants to ride a roller coaster, she can just wait in line, she is old enough to do single rider if she doesn't want to wait in as long of a line, but I am not rearranging things for 1 10 year old, 5 days before we leave. She'll just have to cope.
My sister also decided, do you know what would be nice? taking Mom and Dad out for a nice dinner at Disney late on evening. Great, but between all the kids there is no good time, and I am not going out to dinner at 9:30, just isn't happening. Both me and my other sister kind of shot her down. I feel a bit bad, but again if she had brought it up more then 1 week before the trip I would have totally rearranged things to make it work, as for now, nope sorry. I am still waiting to hear back if they want to do a cake or not, I think I have time to order one for our Crystal Palace lunch which everyone will be there for, but I need to know soon since it is only a week away.
Other then those two annoyances since seriously people, I've been planning this trip and talked to you are thing since July, don't wait until the week before we go to change the plans, because I am not. My schedule is made, printed, laminated and put in my book. No changes!
Oh I did make one more change yesterday, I changed our rental car reservation to save $20. It changed nothing except the number so it really isn't much of a change.
