No battery bank. We got good deal through a neighbourhood community initiative for the panels. At the moment, no one is doing battery banks in the suburb installations. We're hoping that someone will work it out later.

We didn't lose power during the rain; so all good here. Other parts of Melbourne did....for over 5 hours.

Large batteries to store extra solar power. The more battery storage capacity, the longer the back-up power you'll have for when the grid power goes down; hence the term "bank".
