Not really dinner is almost ready and then homework time. Plus after I'll watch it timed delayed on my DVR. Modern Famly has thier season premiere taking place in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I like the show, but their is plenty of excitment on FB because I had a lot of friends meet the cast and crew when it was filimed about a month ago there.

So is that where you live in the Rockies?

That's been the plan all along. The FIL dropped so many cigarettes on the kitchen linoleum there were burns all in there. The carpeting was stained and the place hadn't been painted in over 20 years. We're pretty much doing $20K of remodeling (which was what we expected). Why do you think we needed such a hefty loan at the beginning of the year?

It will be gorgeous when they are done. The granite countertops have been installed in the kitchen, and the sink too. The whole place has been primered and they are already working on the trim for the doorways. The kitchen will get tile floors and they are painting the cabinets so it will look like a modern, stainless steel type kitchen. They will be restoring the hardwood floors underneath the carpeting and this place will be gorgeous. We hope to rent it for $2700 a month 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, with 1 car garage and an enclosed outdoor patio. And it is one block from the beach (well bluff the beach is about 40-50 ft down from the bluff. There's a lot of stairs! ).


OK, so I thought this was hilarious...Yesterday we went to the Apartment House Assocation Trade Fair. They had exhibitors and seminars for Apartment House owners and managers, and we got a few free resuable shopping bags and pens. Then I come upon this booth.

This is a service (offered to landlords who allow pets) that they take a DNA swab of your tenant's dog. Then when poop is found on the Apt grounds, you can identify the culprit!

I really dont know. I go through some things once in a while. Thanks for asking. I had to go grocery shopping. I didnt want to. We havent gone in over 3 months.

I have coffee with a 70'something year old on Thursday mornings. Have I ever told you about her?

A number of us mums used to go to the same coffee shop every thursday to have coffee. This lady always used to be there, sitting by herself. One of the other mums got friendly with her and she started to join us.

Anyway, the other mums have all got part time jobs and we no longer meet up on a Thursday. When the mums were meeting up, we were about the only company she had all week.

I'm the only one that still goes on a Thursday....and this is really to meet up with this 70 something lady. She has family...but they are all busy and shes pretty much alone most of the week.

Anyway....she was sick today but still got out of bed to come to have coffee with me. She does have my mobile number and she can always text to cancel; but she wanted some company. I'm a bit worried about her...she really didn't look well.
