I'd be the first to admit that I'm a DISaddict....but whatever happened to the old fashioned holiday....out of contact?

I haven't been looking but I agree...
There is a difference between keeping in touch on occasion...and daily updates...

The thing I like about FB is you can do a check in which takes all of 3 mins. Or upload a couple photos you took on the phone at the end of the day.

I only have friends I know well on FB so it works well

This tunnel was blasted with dynamite. But the different layers of limestone means some parts are softer than others and this has caused damage in parts

I hooked up with the other DisDress-downs on the Emmy thread and we watched it live. The fashion was as always....hit and miss. Sadly the dress-downs weren't as interesting as they normally are on the Dis....half of the people didn't have payTV and were relying on Fox to stream the red carpet. There was a gridiron match that ran over....and the red carpet was nearly over by the time Fox started to show it.


The Emmy program itself?? Well....I baled near the end of the Variety awards. Thought it was lame, flat and just off.


Roll on award season in January.

Yes, I know....trivial and superficial stuff....but I enjoy the snarky comments on the Dis on people's dresses or lack thereof.

Queenie - That tour looks so interesting; especially the long silvery hallway! I get claustrophobic in caves, even the big ones but I like to look at pictures of them.

Haven't seen any Emmy stuff yet - just getting over vacation fatigue and bumping my head on the airport shuttle train.

Well I hope you got good rest for both of us. You should feel refreshed. I hope. I got so much to do. I hate grocery shopping. I havent gone for 2 months. I have enough in my freezer but alot of other things are dwindling away. I think my DH wants to eat. And yet I sit here needing to wait on a phone call. Dont have a cell phone anymore. Which is ok save alot of money that way since I am not working. But it puts me behind if I have to wait on things like that. Poor dog needs a benyadrl ( sp ) . Oh what to do, what to do.
